S.E.M.I. Review a Chaotic Co-Op Escape Mayhem Chaos, Co-Op, and Uncontrollable Pill-Powered Mayhem When S.E.M.I.: Side Effects May Include first crossed my feed, I immediately knew this was a “grab your friends and cause problems” kind of game. Developed as a single-player and online co-op action platformer with puzzle elements, S.E.M.I. throws players into a chaotic escape attempt from a bizarre clinic where experimental pills grant unpredictable and often hilarious side effects.

High On Life 2 – Bigger, Bolder, Better When High On Life launched in 2022, it wasn’t just another first-person shooter — it was a chaotic, profanity-filled fever dream that somehow worked. Squanch Games delivered a bizarre sci-fi comedy packed with talking alien guns, absurd humor, and fast-paced combat that made it one of the most talked-about games of the year. After the success of High On Life, many fans wondered if there was more story left to tell.

If you thought the first High On Life was ridiculous, wait until you see the sequel. More jokes, more chaos, more talking guns… and yes, you can grind rails on a skateboard while fighting aliens.

Here is our full review of the game.

Dawnfolk: Simple, Smart, and Addictive A Minimalist Survival City-Builder That Shines in the Darkness Indie games continue to prove that innovation does not require a massive development team or blockbuster budget. Dawnfolk, developed by solo indie creator Darenn Keller, is a charmingly dark minimalist survival city-builder that blends resource management, moral choices, and engaging mini-games into one cohesive experience. Released on February 13, 2025, this medieval fantasy title invites players to rebuild a realm consumed by creeping shadows.

Dawnfolk is a minimalist survival city-builder developed by a solo creator, and it ended up being more engaging than expected.

Short runs, meaningful decisions, and a strong atmosphere make it easy to keep playing.

At the time, Suda 51 and Grasshopper Manufacture Inc were showing off Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered. Although I had missed the original release of Shadows of the Damned, the preview at PAX East made me determined to try it out. After playing the demo, we got the chance to sit down with Suda 51 and discuss future projects as well as games that he would love to remaster.

FFXIV Raid Lingo 101: The Terms Every Beginner Should Know If you’ve ever opened Party Finder in Final Fantasy XIV and felt completely lost, you’re not alone. Raiding comes with its own shorthand, acronyms, and terminology, and learning the language is often the hardest part of getting started. I’m Pyra, and even after years of raiding in FFXIV, and over 11 years playing the game, there were plenty of terms I had to learn along the way.

RuneScape: Dragonwilds Review – Veteran Player Perspective Introduction: Coming Home to Something Completely Different Jagex Announces Dragonwilds Release I've been clicking around Gielinor since 2003. Destiny 2 in Crisis: A Veteran Guardian’s Critical Review Destiny 2 Review: A Franchise Searching for Its Soul I am going to start this review by saying that giving Destiny 2 in its current state an overall score of 4 out of 10 may feel harsh to some, but it is a score I arrived at after a great deal of thought. This score reflects the game as it exists today, not just a single season.

Walking back into Destiny 2 felt nostalgic… until Bella remembered why she left. Same problems, same recycled content. Here is her full review!

MSI Strike Pro Wireless Review: Best Silent Keyboard for Gamers Why MSI Sent Me This Keyboard to Test When MSI reached out to send me their Strike Pro Wireless keyboard for review, I jumped at the opportunity. As both a Twitch streamer (Strangexfire) and gaming journalist, I spend 10-12 hours daily at my desk—streaming, writing, and managing my Etsy shop. I needed a keyboard that could handle the intensity without driving my audience (or me) crazy with noise.

MSI Strike Pro Wireless: quiet Kailh switches, magnetic wrist rest, tri-mode wireless, hot-swappable keys. Solid build, $109. Here is our full review!

Hazbin Hotel Season 2 Review: More Chaos, Music, and Heart Hazbin Hotel’s first season captivated fans with its bold animation style, sharp storytelling, and unforgettable music. Fans didn’t just watch the show, they lived it. Comic-Con cosplays, spontaneous sing-alongs, viral flash mobs, the fandom practically took over the internet and real life. After finishing Season 1, who didn’t want more? More shenanigans, deeper character backgrounds, and even bigger musical moments. Going into Season 2, the big question was simple: Can it top what Season 1 started?
