Congress could stop Trump's war today, or remove him from office tomorrow, at will. But they have chosen not to act. The Constitution provides appropriate checks and balances for an unrestrained executive branch. But it provides no remedy for a plurality of elected senators and representatives actively refusing to uphold their oaths or do their jobs.
