INFAUST could use some love and what better way to show it than to show off the insane ao3 tags that relate to it? If you want a buck-wild enemies-to-enemies-that-fuck-unhealthily dark fantasy, dark romance read, this is probably as good as the getting gets

WAIT ! I remember vaguely learning about this before

Younger than now me wondered (and still does if we are being honest) if that’s where the terms French Kissing comes from or are those unrelated ?

“You look happier.”

Thank you. I wrote the spicy and angsty priest x demon romance that was haunting my daydreams.

And it’s coming out in a few days. 👀

Then finished it off with a suggestion to visit the local library for more suggestions outside of Goosebumps for their book and media recommendations that falls under their wants and age range and that seemed to do it. Like please,,,,be kids for as long as you can 🥹

Explained further how consuming things outside of their age range and developmental appropriate ranges will do irrevocable damage and harm to their emotional and mental wellbeing really hammered it in and suggested to their parent to research this matter extensively 🫣

Oh dear heavens,,,,,i met a child in the wild arguing with their parent about something similar and I was like “oh you like horror and gore??? You should read Goosebumps!” And the parent was so overjoyed with this pivot by a stranger like kiddo? Please stay in your age range it’s for the best

In light of a certain TERF-authored HBO series getting more press lately, here are better stories you can read: LGBTQ+ friendly books w/ magic, witches, fantasy, etc! I could go on and on with more slides honestly—I love this genre, and there are SO MANY fabulous books out there.🌈📚💙

Cover art for Yours Celestially by Al Hess. Painting of a suit and hat without a head against a cloudy blue sky littered with pop-up computer messages.

I read Yours Celestially by Al Hess! A charming SFF romance starring an asexual agender AI angel who counsels souls in a digital limbo, and a resurrected-from-the-dead former drug addict and divorcee who can feel the angel's feelings for their beloved.

No book is going to turn kids into someone else. But books will regularly show kids other people like them and show those kids they're not alone. And they'll show kids other types of people who also exist. There is a large proportion of the population who are terrified of this.

It’s literally designed by evil corporate greedy fucks. Going down the rabbit hole on why they didn’t give A//mer!ca the good transportation system and only gave it this was another evil systematic choice from hell recently and I’m so angry ugh

Home - Human Authored In a world of generative AI, recognising human creativity is vital Join the scheme The Human Authored logo scheme enables authors to declare that their work has been created by a human, and not using ...

So basically the new Human Authored scheme doesn't have any verification at all. It's 100% honour based. As long as you're an SoA member you can assert that your work wasn't generated by LLM / AI and put a logo on it.

AKA we're taking people's word that they aren't dishonest.

Book cover art for Name Her Holy by Aubrey Ennis. The cover has two women standing against a starry twilight background with a pale sun. At the forefront Kye stands facing forward, one hand held up with a cold flame and billowing black smoke. She is wearing dark purple robes with a high color and gold accents. She has dark wavy brown hair that comes to her chin, tan skin covered in light scars, and pale gray eyes. Behind her Jude stands in profile, a head taller than Kye. She is in leather armor stamped with meadow floral designs, holding a golden sword etched with light oak leaves. Jude is white, has long auburn hair in a braid with an undercut at the sides. She has a long scar across her nose and freckles on her cheeks. The sun rises behind her. A border of flowers and stars creates an arch above them with a deep purple background.
