A reminder that The Way After offer a classic sound while feeling like something new. Give our album 'Still To Breathe' a listen and you’ll see what we mean. Go to distrokid.com/hyperfollow/... for links to Spotify, Bandcamp, and more.

Fair play, that's useful feedback. A mate of mine once got a promo T-Shirt made up for me as a joke, and it smelt oddly like vinegar - you never get that problem down the HMV!
OK, here's a question: The images below are indicative only, but if The Way After were to launch an online merch store, would you be interested in any of the following items?
Do you or a loved one need a new mug, T-Shirt or tote bag?
All proceeds will go towards funding future albums!
I note the movie is described as "iconic" because if course it is. By 2030, I predict all critical vocabulary will be reduced to "iconic", "meh", or - if something's really bad - "cringe".
🤣
With the launch of Artemis II you'll have seen a lot of Flat-Earthers on the defensive in the face of some pretty incontrovertible evidence - but don't believe what you've been spoonfed by NASA! This is all you need to know about the world in which we all live:
I guess April 1st is not a good day to share anything, but hey! I'm playing at the Criterion Theatre on the 11th May as part of the Springboard Festival, and I'm looking forward to it:
Some pics from yesterday to prove it happened:
Don't be sad you missed the gig; Watch the video and pretend you were there 🙂👍

Look ma! I'm playing in front of Ringo Starr! 🤩
Catch me at HMV Coventry tomorrow, Saturday 28th March, for an acoustic set to celebrate our debut album 'Still To Breathe'.
📍 Where: HMV Coventry
🕒 When: 3:00 PM
🎟️ Entry: Free!
If you’re in town, come say hello, grab a CD, and make your presence felt in the front row! See you there?
Right that's it: I hereby promise that if I get one more email from a "professional choreographer" wanting to use my music to create "dance visuals that enhance audience engagement, and support overall release performance", then I will cut out the middleman by creating said visuals myself...
UPDATE: The onstage time for this Saturday will be 3pm - It's always nice to have some friendly faces in the audience, so hope to see you there!
This Saturday March 28th (time TBC) I’m heading to my local HMV Coventry for a live acoustic set to promote the debut album 'Still To Breathe'. I'm practicing hard to make it a good one, so if you’re in town then please come over and say hello. It’s free!

Because if there's one word you couldn't associate with Donald Trump it's "malicious"... 🫤
Fake AI Image of Tim from The Way After as a Funko Pop. Inset is a real image of Tim outside the HMV store in Coventry
To commemorate playing HMV Coventry on Sat 28th March, I've decided to make a Funko Pop of myself. You won't be able to buy said Funko Pop, but you'll be able to buy copies of 'Still To Breathe', hear me play a few songs, and buy Funko Pops of people you've actually heard of - so come down!
Oldindiemum has arrived Down Under bringing all the vinyls and CDs I sent to her house over the last year.
It’s just like Christmas!🎄
Thanks Dærick - hopefully you'll like the second one too!

Bandcamp Friday again! No salesman I, but click the link above; If you like what you hear, then please consider buying it. If not, then let's both pretend like it never happened. Thank you, either way!
Ps. Had band team call last night. 2nd album imminent.
Gig flyer for upcoming live dates: Saturday 28th March: HMV Coventry Date TBC: Springboard Festival, Criterion Theatre, Coventry Wednesday 15th July, Rother Street Arts Venue, Stratford-upon-Avon
While the rest of the band are in the studio, I'm keeping myself out of mischief... If you are in Coventry and/or Stratford over the next couple of months, then why not come along and say "hello"?
I'm not 65 (even a well-preserved 65 like Pete Tong) but as someone who has started wearing hearing aids for clarity (and listening to music) I can attest to the importance of getting your hearing checked out:

For anyone tracking this we're just 7 plays short of the Magic 1000 and Spotify opening the keys to the kingdom and welcoming us in. Or something.

Bus wanker! Got a few live dates coming up, so I'm off to Noise Works in Fargo Village to get my Epi D-12 gig-ready; Having moved to Coventry from London, I must say how nice it is to have a bit of leg room and adequate space for my guitar on the bus 🚌 🙂👏
Just seeing if it works:

FURTHER UPDATE C'mon! Just 23 plays to go! There's a snippet below, but have a listen to the whole thing while I imagine what loaf of bread I'm going to buy with the riches Spotify are about to bestow on me: open.spotify.com/track/5KCX6E...
UPDATE: 31 plays to go - we can do this! Just think: Each $0.03 Spotify will have to give to us is $0.03 less for them to give to AI weapons research... 🤔

Our song 'You Built A Wall' is just 41 plays from getting us out of the "sub 1000" category... It was described as "a melodic poetic track with orchestral touches that call to mind late 60s Beatles or Kinks"... so if that tickles your fancy, then check it out:
