a bear vacuuming a floor as a japanese salaryman looks on in terror

found out about the manga kuma gurashi which is like those ones where a manic pixie dream girl comes into a salaryman's life and starts doing all his domestic chores for him to heal his heart except in this one it's a realistically drawn bear and the salaryman is terrified on every single page

Coachella is trying to wipe all of the footage of The Strokes protest set so I’m gonna post it here. The last images on the screen made me cry.

I'm the other way around, I got symptoms of carpal tunnel with my regular tablet, and a screen tablet feels better for my body.

But this is the point! As much as possible, try to get the tool that works for YOUR body. Just because screen tablets are fancy doesn't mean they're right for you!

That's just how you have to pick up rats. They always owe you money.

Some practice sketches of rat feet! The reference photos are all of my rats—they're so cute that I ended up screenshotting the whole thing instead of just the feet :)

Picture of a bookshelf. There is a magikarp figure and several books with unclear titles. Pokemon plushies of Appletun, Applin, Hydrapple, and Dipplin sit on the top of the shelf. On the right side of frame there are two paintings of knights, one in golden armor standing contemplative in a field and tbe otber pierced bt arrows.

I ordered the removeable applin plushie last night. All I need is a flapple or two to hang from the cieling. My ugly son.... hes grown on me over the years but Appletun and Dipplin are still the best.

On this day in 2009, 17 years ago, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky was first released on the Nintendo DS.

It was the first enhanced version of a Pokémon Mystery Dungeon game and added more dungeons and Pokémon, as well as special Story episodes

Most ppl dont actually have the opportunity to get gainful labor in a field they love. There are so many barriers, $$$ of edu one of them. We are disconnected from the results of our labor and its soul crushing for a lot of ppl. Theres a battle over our ability to even care about anything.

There are lots of topics I dont give a fuck about things that dont effect my daily life. But out there somewhere is a human that has devoted countless resources to something they deem exceptionally important. The most corrupting aspect of capitalism is most ppl arent working around things they value

My hottest take is that almost everything is important, deeply truly meaningful, but it is fundamentally impossible for the brain to comprehend *all* of the importance around us. Anyone saying something doesnt mean that much is waging an idealogical battle over what is even worth discussing!

I also dont trust leadership to share my opinion that we actually should think toys are really important and have material ways that ppl interact with them and therefore have impacts on how they interact in the real world. I think they say toy and think cheap plastic & $$$ printer.

Ive got mixed feelings about it. In many ways I do feel like they are toys. Pokopia has been the best pokemon themed block building adventure ever. I also feel like we dont respect toys and play enough in the first place. A toy doesnt have to be inherently childish or unsophisticated.

I made PNGtuber art tonight because I’ve been considering it for a while but when I tested in OBS, OBS crashed twice just trying to run a configuration wizard !!

Anybody got advice for art streaming on a Mac mini…?

You absolutely SHOULD NOT go around telling people that data centers are full of gold, silver, palladium, copper, and that the data centers are almost entirely unstaffed.

A flatscreen display on a "smart" water fountain, demanding to be reconnected to the internet.

In 1999, I was playing a decker in Shadowrun, and tried to distract a guard by hacking a water fountain to overflow, and my GM said "why would a water fountain be on the network? That's fucking stupid. No you can't try."

Well it's 2026 and I just want you to know, Phil, that I FUCKING CALLED IT!

I was once catching up with a few people whose careers I respect to get some thoughts about what to do next and one of them said

"You know, your next thing doesn't have to be bigger than your last thing."

And it remains one of the most creatively freeing things I've ever heard.
