Loved Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, but wholly believe Hollow Knight: Silksong to be the best game I played this year. E33 has a really challenging and wonderful story, but completely falls apart in act 3 in terms of gameplay and polish. Silksong never flirts with mediocrity: it's the perfect game.
