it is a little funny to work on a project that takes as its assumption that we are post solarpunk and think about what would logically come after that and then for a game literally just called that to be announced a few months later

i saw someone call their OWN, HUMAN work slop the other day and i was so fucking sad about it

which is maybe subjective to the point of being unhelpful but i think it has a couple of applications: first, it doesn't matter how good the end product is because the act itself is good. second, constantly saying this (which i know i do, lol) just gives me a good association with starting the task!

i do think that the thing that changed how much i write/how easy i find it is understanding that, fundamentally, i love the process
