I think the worst part of AI's impact on discourse is the adoption of the fluff phrase "that matters". Whenever someone says it, immediately ask why. If they can't explain, they aren't really thinking. I guess that's one benefit of AI; it gave us an easy bullshit test.

If AI was the answer its proponents claim, we would be running to it. They wouldn't have to work so hard to foist it on us. It's always "You must use AI, everyone else is." Not "You have this problem, here is how AI can solve it". That's how you know it is worthless.
