What kind of tormented soul does this to the iconic, historic, beautiful, Sycamore Gap on Hadrian’s wall? Felled in a matter of minutes overnight in what can only be described as an attack on nature. There are very few trees in this landscape this medieval tree was truly special. Devastating. 🥲
