One of the things I absolutely despise in limited are lands eating the rare slot, especially in Sealed. It just feels painful to get them as your rares during an event, especially if they are off-color from what the rest of your pool has going for it.

Took my daughter on Saturday and we loved it. All the little nods were great and she even freaked a little seeing some of the cameos (having one of those Nintendo classics emulators introduced her to a lot of the characters).
This is how I like to log into Bluesky, good news. Congratulations and blessings for the newlyweds.
Oddly enough, I can see this as pseudo ramp in some decks. Like in black/white, use this on my own Stitcher's Supplier to get it milling more and I get to ramp?
Bummer. I'll have to get her a copy of the card then with this art.
I showed my daughter this art last night as she's into dragons at the moment with her reading (she's 10), and wants me to get print of it for her room. It's a great rendition of Prismari.
You're not wrong. Storm and Cascade coming back into Standard in an "unrestricted" form seems like it's asking for trouble. But unless they are cheated out, I think they cost too much to be completely broken (I'm probably wrong and something is going to get banned).
Exponential Growth, a Magic cards that costs XXGG and doubles the power of a targeted creature X times.
Rite of Consumption, a Magic cards that costs 1B and says As an additional cost to cast it, sacrifice a creature. Rite of Consumption deals damage equal to the sacrificed creature's power to target player. You gain life equal to the damage dealt this way.
I was thinking Exponential Growth and give something trample, run someone over for a bazillion, then fling the creature at someone else with Rite of Consumption.
Big same. I've watched it a few times and it never fails to creep me out. Probably because it hews too close to something I could see happening in real life.
One of my favorite creatures and my favorite version of Gisa. I love how you can just see how unhinged she is just by her eyes but then you get all the other details like the ripped up dress and the dirt on her hands from digging up corpses. Tells a story in a single image.
I’m doing a giveaway on one of these hand embellished Dawnhand Eulogist mats as thanks for loving the art so much!! Comment your favorite MTG card art, repost, and follow me to enter. I’ll randomly select a winner on next Monday 10pm! evynfong.square.site/product/dawn...
It's just not worth the risk to come into the US anymore. Travelers just need to stay away for now. Every other country needs to isolate and treat the US as the hostile, dangerous place it has become.
Congratz. So great when you have that special someone in your life.
Took my kid to see it last week. Pretty good but takes a decently dark turn later into the movie.
I hadn't seen this card before but now I have a funny (yet terrible) idea for Commander...
1 hour later and it's triple that...$3,600.
The priciest stuff in Lorcana is mostly concentrated in one color (Amethyst) where you can easily see stuff that's $25-$45 a copy. Most other colors, the top cards are $10 or less for the "power cards" and the rest is around $2 or less. Stay away from Amethyst and it's pretty cheap.
I said the same thing when I was looking for chocolate chips to make chocolate covered strawberries for my wife for v-day. Walmart brand, $7 for a 24 oz. The name brand stuff was $11 for the same size.
That should be illegal as hell. It's usury, but these "payday" loan places aren't regulated federally and can charge whatever they want if that state doesn't cap it (Tennessee doesn't). Some abusive crap there.
Local news this morning said it would be him touting his accomplishments. I immediately said "If that's the case, it'll be the shortest speech ever."
I would. Regardless of UW or UB, it's too much product at too much velocity. You can't enjoy what's in front of you before the next set (or two) is being dangled in front of you.
Hence the near instant response from anyone with more than 2 brain cells that recognized the probability it would be used for spying. It's like they think people can't figure it out.
Nice. Congratulations!
Might check this out later. The last 3 packs of Dragon Shields I've bought have been straight garbage. Corners keep splitting out. I have much older ones without that issue, so it's frustrating and I'm looking for new alternatives.
...distributors that came in and did floor layout and restock). They would come in and move those "death shipments" to the top of the front feature, all to rack up cash from anyone looking for albums once word got out that the artist died. Now we get to see it in streaming at near instant speed.
Years ago I worked at Walmart, and whenever a music artist died, within a couple days, big shipments of their catalog would show up. We called them "death shipments." It was so blatantly gross that the distributor for their CDs at the time tried capitalizing every time (they had outside...
Wow. I didn't even know this existed. Nice gift.
This quackery is more dangerous than many realize. One study showing something is nowhere near enough to declare anything as a definitive "cure" or even a recommended therapy.
I remember a game vs. a Psychatog player, where he got mad that my black zombie pile beat him because I was able to redeploy after Upheaval fast, then cycled Polluters that he couldn't counter to kill him. Said "I can't believe I lost to this Legions trash."
I was one of those that cast Plow Under. It was a bastard of a card, but it felt good watching strategies fall apart at the sight of all that lost tempo.
