Some people have misunderstood this.
We literally saw how Claude itself, coded by Claude, turns one API call into a DOS of thousands upon thousands of API calls done in the sloppiest fucking way possible.
This postmortem shows Bluesky vibecoded a function to DOS itself, in a similarly stupid way.

Food banks are not part of a safety net. they are proof we do not have a safety net.
Even if it was a real verse, that book is in the Old Testament
Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell could not have sold children for sex without rich perverts buying them for sex. I feel this needs to be emphasized much more than it is.
With the iPhone, it was, "You have to use Cingular wireless," but there were other phone options lol
Trump had several gripes while speaking at his No Tax on Tips event in Las Vegas Thursday evening. Yet in an incredible mental lapse, one of Trump’s points of frustration was about who the president was in 2025. trib.al/4IYMYzT
Sometimes you shoot someone and become a Republican idol, getting away with it.
Need something for a "slop flop"
The President is a rapist.
Don’t stop talking about the #EpsteinFiles and tRump’s involvement. Hold the pedo in chief accountable.
Not enough people are talking about how hard it is to provide a nutritious, home-cooked dinner at a consistent, reasonable hour when you work a full-time job.

Breaking news: shoe company who couldn't turn a profit now pivoting to ai, where no profits have been made
...says the man with the highest net worth on this rock spinning through the void.
It would also (hopefully) get rid of the grifters.
Leaders of companies need to lead companies, not just scrape by until they get acquired. We need healthy companies for stability.
And whoever thought doubling headcount in a few years was a good idea needs to be cancelled.
So it begins.
We won't have to wait long until executives come knocking on the doors of engineers asking "so... that Claude Code licence we gave you and forced you to use, going so far as to track your token use... how valuable is it REALLY?"

WARREN: I want to understand how slashing healthcare for families so Meta gets a $3b tax cut is a 'really good outcome for the American public'
IRS CEO BISIGNANO: I don't see the two as correlated
W: Those tax cuts were paid for by pushing people off their healthcare. Did you not follow that?
Today in "sadly, NOT the Onion," we learn that Wisconsin Republicans will spend taxpayer dollars on private attorneys to defend themselves in a lawsuit regarding their use of private attorneys. 🤦♂️
Disney's new CEO, whose pay package is worth nearly $45M, just announced 1,000 layoffs.
Reminder that Disney paid an effective federal income tax rate of ZERO in 2025 and aims to buy back $7B of its own stock in 2026.
This is what corporate greed looks like.
I dislike having a glaringly bright screen in my face the whole time I'm eating.
In large parties, there are multiple when they push tables together.
When the printer ran out of receipt paper (see main thread), it blinked red-- no one came out to refill it or take it away.
Side thread: why do I hate these devices?
Mainly, they take up table space. It used to be pushed on you by the company, too, if they were trying to be cheap with scheduling.
Though I do also understand that it could be easy to lose track of which gift card was which. Definitely an annoying situation, but glad I did it rather than force the waiter through that.
The 6th card paid the remaining balance and still had some value on it.
THE DEVICE ASKED US IF WE WANTED A RECEIPT PRINTED OR EMAILED, after the balance was paid lol.
This should have either been an option after each payment was applied, or give us the option for one receipt at the end.
So we finished eating and started to pay, using the smallest cards first so we can toss them.
AFTER EACH GIFT CARD, IT AUTO-PRINTED A RECEIPT if there was a remaining balance.
5 cards, 5 receipts. We saw the pink of the receipt paper, knowing it was going to run out lol.
But the 6th was glorious!
Why 6 gift cards?
2 were from previous birthday gifts, and when they have $2-$3 on them, we forget.
3 were bought that day because we knew we were going, and we were at Sam's club. Sam's sells ~$45 for slightly less, as 3x$15 cards, + a free $5 card.
Another software fail, courtesy of #RedRobin.
First of all, I hate those devices on the tables where you can "order", pay, etc. ("order" in quotes because I believe it just showed a QR code to access an online menu from your phone.)
Anyway, we finished eating and had 6 gift cards...
