A post by Lark: james bringing up Kimi Räikkönen, fork found in kitchen
Me after doing a F1 piece on five tracks that should be on the calendar where I mentioned Kimi (Räikkönen) four times and used photos of him on track twice

Indeed, mate. I get it. Unfortunately nothing we can do about it except speak up against injustice and hope change happens
Really do not like Singapore 😂 Although the current layout is better for racing. Monaco is already a quali street track.
Vegas is very good I have to say. And yeah, Monaco, Melbourne and Montreal are fine for me.
From the current calendar I'd dump Miami, Singapore, Qatar, Madrid and Abu Dhabi
Looks like I made a good list then 😉
Of course I would always have Suzuka over Fuji as well. But if they ever had an Asian GP race or something, perfect opportunity for a second Japanese race!
Less street circuits for me, more permanent ones
*Hollands
A shocking lack of care. April 2026 and there is still a culture of ignoring mental health problems. Every sports team should have a psychologist these days.
Wishing Elijah Holland all the very best and I hope he comes out the other side of it.

On a more general point, Haas are the best on the PR side. Look at Ayao and Ollie on the High Performance Podcast. Unfiltered, brilliant and engaging to listen to. That's all thanks to the comms legends they have. I know that from my experience getting to interview Mark in 2022.
Dear me. Not surprised at all, unfortunately. But if a driver cannot be themselves and are basically getting controlled, it's pointless interviewing them.
When I interviewed Kimi (Alfa/Sauber) and Mark Slade (Haas) I was fortunate not to ever have this issue. But it's oh so common and it sucks.
I interviewed Lando Norris and the world champion was open, honest and articulate. And then his management stepped in to police and muzzle him in an attempt to "control the narrative."
From then on it did not go too well....this is what happened.

It's not even news. But I hope she's okay because stuff like this is kinda concerning to see
Bursted out laughing typing this. Totally normal individual so I am
But I thought she fountrudeau?
I actually think falling asleep at 19:00 CET is worse than at 3 am in whatever timezone you are 🤣
A complete blue sky, a green field and some trees.
Perfection is virtually impossible but this is about as close as it gets
More political than actual politicians 😭
"We need to see the Bearman accident for what it was. And it was a misjudgment of a situation. It's like pushing the boost button and it's like not braking on a kink where you supposedly should brake."
Toto Wolff... okay.
I've been watching IndyCar for 11 years now and that is one of the dullest I've ever watched. Really poor spectacle.
And not because Palou won, it was very bad all the way through 😅 Rosenqvist can be really proud of that performance.
He doesn't want to catch Em's sleeping schedule and is running to Indiana #understandable
That is ridiculously unlucky for Rosenqvist. A complete masterclass ruined through no fault of his own.
It's a shame Newgarden has this flat spot because it's been a *long* time since he looked this good on a street track. Even in the early laps on the same strategy as most he looked rapid
Following today's tragic incident during Round 2 of the FIA CODASUR Rally Championship at Rally Sudamericano Mina Clavero, the FIA would like to share the following statement.
Rosenqvist has never finished on the podium in a race he started on pole in IndyCar. Looking at the cars behind him, I think that'll continue today...
What a dreadful day of results. My goodness. Utter nightmare in sporting terms. #GAA
If you're going to cover activities of F1 drivers doing other categories, show some fucking respect to everyone else and stop making everything about F1 drivers (in situations like yesterday). It's pathetic and disgusting. I have absolutely no time for people like that.
RIP Juha Miettinen.
Again, Max Verstappen did not ask for this. But it's the old classic where these websites will use a F1 driver name to get clicks. If Liam Lawson or Esteban Ocon were in that race yesterday, they would do the same. Nobody with a heart cared that Max Verstappen was there when someone else had passed.
Still pissed off at those headlines yesterday. I am not one bit shocked of course (aside from The Race maybe), but it is a stark reminder of the bubble these journalists live in when they think only about SEO, money and clicks/clickbait. It's deplorable and shows a complete lack of humanity.
do racing "news" outlets know they can write about the tragedy that just occurred at Nurburgring without mentioning that Max Verstappen is racing in it? the world does not revolve around Formula 1 drivers.
Don't hate on Max, btw. This isn't on him.
The lack of humanity and empathy in journalism is frightening. Genuinely awful.
My only caring thoughts are with Juha Miettinen's family and friends, alongside those who tried to save him today, and anyone else who was at the scene. My heart is with ye.
The Race: "Multi-car crash halts Verstappen's Nürburgring race"
Sky Sports: "Juha Miettinen dies in seven-car crash during Max Verstappen's Nürburgring race"
Daily Express: "Driver dead in horror Nürburgring crash and second airlifted to hospital" The Race: "Driver dies after crash that stopped Verstappen's Nürburgring race"
Juha Miettinen, RIP.
The fact that so many outlets did 1) Not mention his name in the title 2) Made it about Verstappen when Max should never be mentioned has enraged me like you wouldn't believe. Genuinely fuming.
A racing driver has died in tragic circumstances and you make it about F1/Max. 🤢
