We've said it before and we'll say it again: 📢 The Constitution is NOT a suggestion.
The current draft of the state loitering bill violates both the U.S. and DE constitutions, including the 4th and 8th Amendments, which protect us from unwarranted searches and seizures & excessive fines and fees.
A few important reminders:
• You must be in a place you’re legally allowed to be
• You cannot interfere with police activity
• Officers cannot delete your footage
• They generally need a warrant to search your phone
The Constitution doesn’t turn off when you press “record.”
