Still pinching myself that back at the beginning of this year, my manuscript, DEATH IN MINIATURE, won RWA's Golden Heart Award for the Love Across Genres category. RWA recently sent me the official social media badge for the win. Gorgeous. Well worth the wait ( ; Thanks, Romance Writers of America!
So thrilled that my manuscript, DEATH IN MINIATURE, was selected as a Finalist in the RWA Hearts Through History Chapter’s Romance Through the Ages Contest (Post-Victorian/World Wars unpublished division)! Happy Dancing Going On ( ;

Deep character development and that feeling of walking a tightrope in the dark. A story about integrity and the fight to be the man you'd always hoped you were. Dan Buzzetta created a rollercoaster ride I enjoyed taking. I posted my review on Amazon, BookBub, and Goodreads — it was that good.
Picking Up The Pieces was delightfully quick and fun. Genuine characters. And the jigsaw puzzle theme, especially as applied to solving the intricately and well-plotted mystery, was not only charming but outright perfect for the story. Posted on Amazon, Book Bub, and Goodreads--it was that good ( ;
Look, Everybody - A MINI Manipulator! I'm a big fan of anything miniaturized.
So, in celebration of fellow 'WOLFPACK' member, Dan Buzzetta's Book Birthday, I celebrated by having a mini-book made of his huge new release. Happy Book Birthday, Dan!
I'm a finalist. Beyond excited! Thank you, Romance Through the Ages COMMITTEE and JUDGES. This contest provides such a rare opportunity for writers like me out here in the world working so hard to get our manuscripts published.

Bronx Beauty on my walk.
My current read is Sarah Easter Collins’s novel (with Crown Publishing), THINGS DON’T BREAK ON THEIR OWN. It was an MWA Edgar Best Novel finalist. I’m thinking maybe it more than deserved the honor ( ;
My Golden Heart Award arrived today.
I couldn’t be more pleased, proud, and grateful to Romance Writers of America.
Isn't it beautiful?
Congratulations to my fellow MWA-NY Leon Burstein Award prize winner upon garnering agent representation.
Thank you, MWA-NY and the award’s dedicated sponsor, Dan Burstein. Christal’s success is a testament to the value and significance this award can have for aspiring mystery authors.
Yay Christal
I gobbled this book up, dollhouses and all.
Me…? I adore a story with secrets, and this book was filled to the brim with them. Add in my fascination with miniatures, and THE LIBRARY OF LOST DOLLHOUSES was a fun, spectacular read.

This book made me look at life differently. There are so many unanswered life and death questions—and, truth be told, they remain so. But oh, how much deeper the possibilities of their answers ring after reading HERE ONE MOMENT.
