Right. It was their whole Joey Bats era

Just going to promote this one more time over the weekend. I totally get how annoying it is to get spammed with stuff. Especially with so many people struggling right now. But if you have the means to help, I'm pretty desperate.
But my names not Phil or Buster?
One thing I’ll be interested as the season progresses is how this veteran core of relievers SB rate compare to their historical rates for their career.
Pretty incredible how it hasn’t even really been close. Elly swiping a bag on us was the definition of a lock.
That’s exactly how I felt when the Rangers fired JD in August of ‘22 even though his contract was expiring after the season. Was it time for him to go, for sure. But that was not a fair way for his tenure to end.

Bryan Magdaleno survived the Rule 5 draft and remains in the Rangers' system
Oh yeah, I think he for sure is better defensively. Also, Burgers faster I think
I like the flexibility it brings, not to mention getting a major league quality bat is nothing to scoff at. Essentially you just went out and acquired what you hoped Foscue would be
Seems like getting better on the margins. Getting an MLB level hitter who mashes fastballs to be corner IF depth/insurance and a DH some. Stash him down in a better lineup with more hittable pitches. Not sexy, but small improvement.
Isn’t that kinda what Woj left ESPN for? Still don’t fully understand it
having exactly (1) day out of the year where every amateur chef in America attempts to cook a giant bird and not fuck it up is, honestly, a wonderful and hilarious tradition
Can it also be said that the “unfairness” comes from the fact that deferring money requires stable ownership w/no intentions to sell? Easier to sell when there’s not millions in deferred cash outflow on the books for players no longer on the roster. Not a barrier to sale but an added hurdle.
My favorite player growing up. Reason I wore 9. Still have his autographed baseball sitting by my desk. Was always a highlight as a kid when they showed hanks homies out in LF on the tv.
Hell yeah, Tepid’s here
Now I need to know about Profar… Nothing made me more sad than the downturn after the homer in his debut in Cleveland. Those two shoulder surgeries did a number. I’ve loved watching him come into his own in San Diego
SHOHEI OHTANI IS THE ONLY PLAYER TO WIN MVP UNANIMOUSLY MULTIPLE TIMES … HE’S NOW DONE SO THREE TIMES
And in both leagues!
Well now I’m sad. I remember those prospect reports when he was 17. Really felt like Pedro V2. Side note… how is he only 26?

Best stadium I’ve been to and it’s not even close. The surrounding area, the skyline view, the park itself.. they all just work so perfectly to great the perfect ballpark experience. I recommend sitting in the second level to get a great view of the skyline.

Love you guys. Been a listener ever since my sophomore year of HS when I’d hide the headphone wire to listen to y’all during class back in the ESPN days. Those ‘10 and ‘11 years were a magical sports time. Y’all keep it up (and y’all make kickass beer too)! Let’s go hot tubbin’
