Had a fun time drawing this little guy during jury duty today. This is a green-and-black poison dart frog. Its skin patterns are stunning even without color.

There is a member of the short-faced bear subfamily still alive today. The spectacled bear has skull and morphology that resemble those of its Pleistocene cousins. Thankfully they come in a smaller black-bear-size package that won’t terrorize your dreams.
