Also some serious category fraud having Zoe Saldana nominated in supporting.

Now up to Emilia Perez. I mean seriously what the fuck is this shit?
Still missing a couple of the best picture noms, but having wasted my time watching the Brutalist, I'm all aboard the Conclave/ Substance trains!
Short and sweet after the last couple. Pretty straightforward and some bosses a bit easy with a fire flower, but I like the added thing of collecting the gold coins. Mini Mario and Giant Mario are fun little power ups too.
The enemies dancing to the background music is still fucking golden!
So we move onto the DS, and New Super Mario Bros (2006)
I'm admitting defeat. This game is absolutely infuriating dogshit. I've got enough shines to unlock all the different nozzles, and I'm still miles away from being able to reach the final level because of stupidly unfunctional this game is. And I value my sanity too much to keep going.
So much climbing and swimming...so much... ๐ญ
Tremendous film. Apparently there is a second one out there somewhere with loads of stuff recorded for it that never made it into the film and I need to see it someday.
Well I had to watch Dune Part 1 again before number 2, so yeah it might have took me 4 years to fully appreciate it's whole but...yeah...Dune is fucking brilliant.
Worst ideas in a game since they put Big the Cat and the Chao races in Sonic Adventure.
I wasn't harsh enough. This is shit. Shit weapon as they got rid of the punch from 64 in favour of...a hose...that's a fucking nightmare to control, the swimming and camera mechanics are worse than 64...and I'm on holiday with the Toads cleaning up graffiti. What...IS this?
This is already incredibly annoying...
Next, Super Mario Sunshine (2002). Originally on Gamecube, but luckily, I got my hands on the 3D collection on the Switch!
Same! I'm so excited all over again!
"Douglas firs..."
Had been thinking about a complete rewatch and finally watching Fire Walk With Me and the Return, so as good a time as any is now
Secret Stars 13
I know where the last 2 are. They're just incredibly annoying!
And there we have it! Up next, another one I've never played, so hopefully I'll enjoy it more than the last one!
Lethal Lava Land 6
Shifting Sand Land 1 (I HATE this one)
Dire Dire Docks 1
Snowman's Land 1 (Another very annoying one!)
Wet Dry World 6
Tall Tall Mountain 1 (HATE)
Tiny Huge Island 1 (HATE)
Tick Tock Clock 2 (Frustrating sometimes, but really cool!)
Rainbow Ride 1
There's 7 on each (6 then 1 for collecting 100 coins) and 15 Castle Secret Stars. Meant I could ignore the more annoying ones! Though I did attempt a lot of them but just got fed up!
Bob-omb Battlefield 7
Whomp's Fortress 7
Jolly Roger Bay 5
Cool Cool Mountain 7
Big Boo's Haunt 5
Hazy Maze Cave 6
And done! Haven't got all 120 stars, never planned to. 70 is the minimum needed to unlock the last Bowser fight, so I got 70, trying to get at least one star from each of the 15 worlds.
Getting a bit long that thread so carrying on with a new one! Started Super Mario 64 (1996) a few days ago and already flying through it! One of my all time favourite games so very familiar with this one
Its over! Its finally finally over! What a slog that was. Sorry, completely fail to understand why this is regarded as some kind of underrated gem. Dreadful. Hated the mechanics, controls, puzzles, baby Mario crying every 5 seconds. Awful. Back on track now.
And other didn't won any of the ones it got a nomination for! We shant forget...
And Lois Smith guest starring...all timer!
It's only took 3 seasons of the Americans, but finally the mail robot has its own episode!
This is still going on. I've just hit a wall at Yoshi's Island (1995). I just can't get a good rhythm to it. Its very different to every other Mario game so far with its style and gameplay, it's a real struggle keeping going.
Yes! Honestly one of my favourite films, one of those I notice something else every time I watch it
This! Tom Cruise spends the entire film trying to have a sexual encounter as good as the one his wife is having in his head. And failing miserably. Every possible encounter is utterly unsexy and on purpose!
Yes! I was a kid when I first saw this and the masquerade confused the hell out of me. But watching it as an adult, the references are all there. Wanting to be grown up but then realising you can't go back once you have.
