The US military has 22 sites in the UK.

Every day long range US bombers are taking off here to drop bombs on Iran.

This is a rogue state carrying out war crimes, and threatening more.

The UK Government must grow a spine - and stop our bases being used for this war.

Nigel Farage apologises for 17 breaches of MPs’ code of conduct Reform UK leader, who failed to declare £380,000 on time, says he is computer-illiterate ‘oddball’

I’m the chair of two charities. If a trustee broke the code of governance 17 times and was paid for work conflicting with their role and didnt declare it, I would ask them to step down immediately. How is this allowed?

Countryside hedgerow with holly and hawthorn

Plant a wildlife hedge instead of building a fence! It could help hedgehogs, bumblebees, blue tits, robins, frogs, bats, toads, dunnocks, butterflies, moths, blackbirds, solitary bees, wrens, hoverflies...

Samir Zitouni's decision to bravely risk his life to protect others during last weekend's train attack was nothing short of absolute heroism.

Wishing him a speedy and full recovery.

The most insanely frustrating thing about the #ClimateCrisis is how the breakthrough we so clearly need isn’t technological. It’s just a collective willingness, a determination even, to change in ways that would clearly be SO MUCH BETTER than the clear and obvious consequences of NOT changing.

Got a couple of miniature watercolour painting sets that I saw advertised on Instagram, as I thought my wife and I could combine competitive painting with a lovely day out. The best work of art either of us will see today will definitely be the back of the pack of paints…!

Four areas of England now in drought as heat threatens wildlife and crops Ministers call for hosepipe bans as East and West Midlands enter drought, joining Yorkshire and north-west

This, and worse, is soon going to be the norm. We must act decisively and globally to keep fossil fuels in the ground and rapidly decarbonise to have any hope of our grandchildren having a livable planet.

Those things are not inherently ‘good’ things but they do make life for millionaires really good.

10 months ago 0 0 0 0

Of course there was no exodus of millionaires, because the UK has:
The Premier League
Private schools (that they can still still easily pay for)
Canary Wharf
The West End
Incredible restaurants
Wimbledon
The NHS
Live music
Great comedy
Hyde Park and many others
Heathrow
Moderate weather
And more

If we want to prevent the most catastrophic impacts of the climate crisis, there must be no new oil and gas drilling. The evidence could not be clearer. So why won't Starmer commit to leaving all fossil fuels in the ground?

On one hand this is good news - particularly if it reflects newly expanded capacity for generation. On the other hand solar has done well because we’ve had such an unusually dry and sunny spring. At Wild & Other, our solar was up 43% on the same quarter in 2024 but we had 12 weeks with no rain!!

Climate breakdown increases the threat of militarism

Our leaders should be de-escalating militarism and increasing a ‘war footing’ on tackling climate catastrophe which threatens the survival of humanity.

The horrors in Gaza continue as the Israeli military opens fire at a food distribution point.

And yet Keir Starmer still refuses to act.

The government must end all arms sales to Israel, call for an immediate ceasefire and denounce Israel's atrocities for what they are - genocide.
