The PS1 is back in the rotation, so we're going back to the origins of the Ace Combat series.

There is just enough room for the wires between the motherboard and the back of the case.

Incidentally, very kind of Sony to leave a little nook where the RX and TX wires can hang out so that you don't have to take your busted PS3 apart again. I'll probably leave these in permanently.

I've tapped into the SYSCON chip looking for clues about the shutdown issue, but the error log is completely empty.
I'm hoping that my hunch about it being a PSU issue is correct. I'll try replacing it and report back.

It definitely says more about the playerbase than anything else, imo. You don't see it as much in Ace Combat because its players are generally cooler and they understand that games are supposed to be fun, as opposed to annoying nerds with military-industrial complex jobs.

I've been running late to everything today and haven't had a chance to work on my Front Mission min-max spreadsheet.
I think I'll use tonight to catch up, and squeeze in an early stream tomorrow (Sunday @ 625 .beats / 14:00 UTC / 10:00 EDT)
