Match Day is usually at the end of March. It’s when med students open their results and find out where they matched for residency and what they’ll be training in. You rank programs, they rank you, and it pairs you up. You don’t always get your first choice of where you want to go or specialty too.

I love watching match day videos on tiktok. I have no idea who any of these people are. But it makes me happy seeing their dreams come true.

Me, last night trying to get my Metapod to evolve into Butterfree lol

True. But I was still using that ember because I didn’t get Metal Claw yet 🤣 and then my first match with Brock. I was in a stalemate for 10+ minutes because my last surviving pokemon was Metapod and all he had was harden. His Onix was paralyzed and couldn’t move. I am glad it is over now 🥲😅

I forgot how much more difficult the OG pokemon games were back then. When I tell you I was in the trenches because I chose Charmander as a starter. Lol
