☝️🫰 this, I talked with a startup that was building a agent that did similar things and one of them was "and it gives you the answer on what's wrong and how to fix it", my reply was no do not like that, do the queries for me, do the leg work, just display the results I want my own conclusions myself

Ok you all know how sometimes I get choked up thinking about what an astonishing miracle penicillin was when it came out, *literally* a miracle.
Yeah so I’m crying at the idea we could cure autoimmune diseases because that would ALSO be a miracle.
Convenience, but it would be very very hard to pull off on western countries, it works in China because whichever company is that has the everything app has a huge ecosystem they have adoption of that they can plug into.
Busy evening here on my pet project, just a little Cloud Inventory tool that gathers your Kubernetes, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and now Terraform state file (with some more work on the latter.)

I'm still looking for a remote platform engineer/devops role, if you have something that fits please reach out, you can take a look at what I have been building at works.ops.userops.me or take a look at my LinkedIn at linkedin at www.linkedin.com/in/londonhug... #devops #kubernetes
Pulumi's Model Context Protocol (MCP) server is out!
Spin up cloud infra straight from any LLM-based MCP client, including Claude, VS Code, Cursor, Windsurf, and more 🛠
In this video, we create IaC in Python and spin up a Kubernetes cluster in AWS with 1-sentence prompt 💥
That EKS cluster still on Kubernetes 1.20? Yeah… we’ve been there.
So we built a new Cloud End of Life integration that maps the dates of when your software and cloud infra loses support with your actual cloud infra.

😮 Weave GitOps, a developer platform based on #Flux, is revived by the #OpenSource community (including ex-staff from #Weaveworks). It had no releases since the company behind it shut down, but here comes its first RC: github.com/weaveworks/w...
We are excited to announce that vLLM inference provider is now available in Llama Stack!
Check out our recent article on vLLM blog that provides an introduction and tutorial to help you get started using it locally or deploying it in a Kubernetes cluster. blog.vllm.ai/2025/01/27/i...
Did some holiday hacking with dagger and k3s. Really like the design and writing pipelines in go not yaml

Found a cluster API provider for incus, might try that for my Sherpa bare metal project
It sure is
Picked this up the replace my edge router x with vyos
Even after reading the docs, watching the videos and reading your thread I still don't understand kcp 😂😭, glad I'm not the only one lol
This is probably obvious for everyone using #Kubernetes out there, but, for those it's not, you can use kubefwd to expose services and automatically update your hosts file with hostnames matching the ones in k8s. github.com/txn2/kubefwd
Check out Bust-a-Kube – tricky #Kubernetes problems to debug! 🐛

kftray is a tool for simplifying #Kubernetes port-forwarding settings. It interacts with the Kubernetes API directly (not relying on kubectl) and offers two interfaces: desktop (kftray) and terminal (kftui). GitHub repo: github.com/hcavarsan/kf...
Super excited to announce codegate.ai.
Docker run your way to a local security and privacy solution for codegen tools.
Oh, it is also OSS.
Heroku is more about the ux, basically they are slapping their ux on top of kubernetes.
Ohh this is cool
Lightsail ec2 instance, custom golang cli using dagger and ansible sets up the infra and does docker compose stack deploys.
Lol it was only a matter of time
konstruct.io kubefirst and colony can help with that, an alternative is kubermatic, sidero omni as well.
Haha ya there is Kong gateway for API and Kong gateway for ingress 😂
Noisy neighbors, separation of concerns, some teams like to do whatever they want, many smaller clusters are often easier than a few big giant ones, probably more I can't think of 😂
I use Kong ingress and it works pretty well, haven't converted to gateway yet.
