The Blue Wyrm, which is also referred to as the Nightshade, stands out as a highly dangerous species of dragon and poses a significant threat due to several unique characteristics. It’s venom is not only extremely potent but is also bioluminescent, giving it a distinct fire-like glow.

I just finished updating my site with some new original art. A few new 'Dragons In Nature' pieces, as well as, quite a few preliminary pencil drawings. For any who may be interested, I will put the link in the comments:)
Ebony Redbreast Dragon. 8.5”x11” Oils. Original Available
You are very welcome!! I know it’s in the right hands!🤘🎨
Another IX Arts Show in the books! What a fantastic, one of a kind show. Nothing else compares!! I also brought home a few new exciting pieces for the Stawicki Collection from (in no particular order) @allenpanakalart.com , Amanda Brack and April Soloman. I am thrilled to add them all!
The IX Arts Show opens in a few days! I'm one of many artists who will be debuting new work only in person on Wednesday night at the Gogglewords in Reading, PA. They won't be on social media until after the show, so you'll have to be there to be among the first to see them! 😃🎨
Here is another look at a piece I will be debuting at the IX Arts Show next Wed. If you are going to the show come see it in person:) 'Bath Time' 18x24 oils
A very condensed look at the process for one of my new ‘Dragons In Nature’ paintings. It will be on display along with several more new pieces, in a little more than a week, at the IX Arts Show. ‘Bath Time’ 18x24 oils.
Some of my art has been officially licensed for use on these beautiful loom woven blankets. Just in time for the fall:) I’ll put the link in the comments for any one who may be interested.
We are just about a month away from the IX Arts Show! This year I will be premiering 9 new dragon paintings in the Main Show! Here is a look at one of them. Can’t wait to see everyone there!:)
‘The Humpback Drake’ 8.5x11 oils
The variety in the animal kingdom has always impressed me. There seems to be no end to the diversity in the animal kingdom, which is, of course, due to evolution. I have always felt like that should also apply to dragons.
‘Honeytail Fae Dragon’ 8.5x11 oils. Private Collection
This is a piece I did for Monte Cook Games that has been circulating lately. I actually did this a couple of years ago, but they are running another amazing crowd funding campaign now and using this art so, I wanted to share:) If you love great TTRGs check it out!
‘Ruk Confrontation’ Digital
Small yet spirited, the Red Wyvern is a friendly but independent creature, known for its loyalty once it forms a bond. Often found in domestic settings, these little companions are admired for their fiery red color and playful personalities.
'Little Helper' 8.5x11 oils. Private Collection
Thank you, Eric!!😃
The family dynamic, as it applies to animals and specifically dragons, has always fascinated me. It has provided much inspiration within my dragon work. This one, obviously, inspired by an adult bird feeding their young.
‘Snack Time’. 12”x21”. Oils. Private Collection.
I usually try to render most of paintings in a pretty tight fashion. However, this is one that I experimented with a more textured/brushy technique for the background.
‘Pride’ 8.5x11 oils Private Collection
Sharing an older piece. This was done as a personal piece, but has been used on many products since. Still dragons:)...I just hadn't committed to the 'in nature' aspect, that would come to define more of my personal work.

'Little Silver' 8.5" x11" Oils.
Original available on my site.
I love painting dragons in flight. It usually gives me a chance to do some landscape painting, which I also enjoy:)!
'Black Wyvern' 8.5x11 oils. Private Collection.
Many times I will be inspired to develop paintings in 'series'. When working on one idea another idea will be inspired. In this case while working on 'Coil', a piece I recently shared, the concept for a piece using the opposite values occurred to me.
'Alert' 8.5"x11" oils. Private Collection
I love playing with lighting effects:) It's a great way to control where the viewers eye goes. Also, here's a peak at the preliminary pencil sketch for this one.
'Spotlight' 8.5"x11" oils Private Collection.
This was done as a smaller oil preliminary. It was later developed into the 'Strawberry Fae Dragon'. I love working with this limited palette for this type of thing.
Dragon Preliminary. 5"x7" oils. Original available on my site:)
I have always enjoyed painting the more natural, quiet moments that can convey a sense of emotion visually. Especially with my dragons, because so many times dragons are only depicted as unthinking monsters. Not to me:)
'Coil' 8.5"x11" oils, Private Collection

Thrilled to share that one of my 'Dragons in Nature' pieces got juried into the Infected By Art competition this year! One of the more odd-ball dragons I did last year. The Strawberry Fae Dragon. 8.5x11 oils on panel. Original available on my site. Congratulations to everyone who got it!:)
