I just hope someone had the decency to shout "IT'S BEHIND YOU!" to whoever was in front.

Did you know when a lion becomes head of his pride, he often kills all cubs, thereby ensuring all cubs are his own?

I did. And I was reminded of this last night, when watching a movie with my little girl. Specifically the Nala/Simba love scene. The Lion King. #wildlife #lions #thelionking #lionking

Sadly for me, I've discovered that in the last month my most exciting conversation was with a cockatoo. I'm at the point of hanging out the window hoping an adult will pass and need some conversation because it seems having a man in my life is cutting more farts than conversation.

So, Trump thought department of education is a con. Well. Ahem. Considering how many people support him and think he's the second coming of Halloween, maybe he's got a point - education doesn't seem to be his supporters' strong suit.

Brit here agreeing sooooo hard. I'm also very confused that they're demonstrating by comparison they've become fascists yet opposed being referred to as such. Don't like being called fascist? Simple: don't act like one.

You know when you're sitting at work and your chest starts aching, then your arm starts aching, then you're wondering if you're due a heart attack, then you're wondering what you do if that's the case, then wonder if you should tell someone, but decide against it because it's probably the hobnobs?

If ever there was a post that makes me miss my Rosie more than anything in this world, it's this. Dogs are the greatest. Join me in my mourning, won't you! ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ˜ž๐Ÿ˜ญ

I feel ya - not on the men's yet myself but been instructed to check my BP twice a day after 30 minutes of winding down and basic relaxation. It gets to my allotted 30 minutes, and my child throws a tantrum. RIP, peace.

๐Ÿ˜ฒ Oh well, I think I accidentally came across it one night, it's not something I'd heard of, to be fair. But it's surreal, interesting, and visually stunning. I'm no film critic but jaw dropped from the imagery and the imagination that went into it.

Unrelated, but... Japan. Have you seen Kurosawa's Dreams? I imagine you have. Now THAT was aesthetic viewing.

My new story's scribbles come with some thoughts. Best part of the thought process: seeing its alternative forms and where they lead, knowing this is how The Doc must feel at times.

Only thing for it, Scott - you may well be able to learn Japanese quicker than a translation comes out. Get cracking! ๐Ÿ˜†

Not sure which particular horror show headlines you mean - there's a few coming from your direction - but I've spent half the day thinking it's Thursday and the other half disappointed tomorrow isn't Friday. I will take that bunny-chick friendship.

They're lovely! That's so cool. How does hibernation work for them, out of interest? Do they, like, close the doors, so to speak?

They're absolutely divine, aren't they. Their artistry, their little flower naps, that real community spirit of theirs. Do you have many?

Merci, my bearded God! I'm an unknown (because I don't plug!), wrote a thing called Marzhin's Veil aimed at YA who like feelgood fantasy. Currently writing a mystery - I MIGHT even try getting an agent when completed (because submissions are the hardest part when your confidence lacks... oops).

Interesting, but I'd argue that is "wif" was old English for female, wer was old English for male, and man meant simply human up until around the year 1000, wimman has its roots after man came to mean male adult human, so while it makes some valid points, it's not taken into account chronology.

Hey, what can you expect? Men decided that women would be called women, which came from "wife of man". As far as it goes, they consider us to be... their property.
