This absurd tariff situation is going to be painful for all, but I gotta say, I’m somewhat soothed watching the Wall Street Journal melt down right now over the issue. “Why isn’t anyone trying to stop him?” Why indeed?

He lost $140 Billion in the last couple months. No way did he pick up that much in contracts. Also, Tesla is massively overvalued, and when (not if) it crashes, it’s gonna destroy his credibility, heavily damaging the value of most of his other companies.

Given that the last I looked at green power, the thought of a 40% cut in emission was a pipe dream (not very long ago) and the fact that we are yearly doubling battery storage capacity AND cutting overall power use (even with all those EV’s, heat pumps, crypto miners, and AI servers) is encouraging

Luckily, heat pumps save lots of electricity over older methods of heating and cooling. And EV charging doesn't appear to be making a huge dent in energy usage (see the article.) AI and crypto mining will be mostly computed in areas with plenty of surplus electricity.

So now that I've been declared to be female via executive order, I'm wondering: Do I need to change my sex on my drivers license myself? Or are the feds gonna sort that out for me?
