said Democrats calling Hasan a antisemite won't even condemn Elon Musk doing multiple seig heils behind a podium with the POTUS seal or Trump referring to bankers with an antisemitic slur ("shyl*cks"), let alone acknowledged that it happened; it was never about protecting Jews, only Israel.

Palm Sunday, 29 March 2026 This morning, the Israeli Police prevented the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, His Beatitude Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Head of the Catholic Church in the Holy Land, together with the Custos of the Holy Land, the Most Reverend Fr. Francesco lelpo, OFM, the official Guardian of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, from entering the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem, as they made their way to celebrate the Palm Sunday Mass. The two were stopped en route, while proceeding privately and without any characteristics of a procession or ceremonial act, and were compelled to turn back. As a result, and for the first time in centuries, the Heads of the Church were prevented from celebrating the Palm Sunday Mass at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. This incident is a grave precedent, and disregard the sensibilities of billions of people around the world who, during this week, look to Jerusalem. The Heads of the Churches have acted with full responsibility and, since the outset of the war, have complied with all imposed restrictions: public gatherings were cancelled, attendance was prohibited, and arrangements were made to broadcast the celebrations to

CENTCOM told me Iran keeps hitting their high-value assets so I asked how many they have and they said they just go to the Pentagon and get new ones afterwards so I said it sounds like they're just feeding high-value assets to the Iranians and then INDOPACOM started crying
JUSTICE SOTOMAYOR, dissenting from the denial of certiorari. Petitioner Priscilla Villarreal is a reporter who was arrested for doing something journalists do every day: posing questions to a public official. Specifically, Villarreal twice texted with a police officer to corroborate information Villarreal already knew about events that had occurred within her community. That officer voluntarily provided the information Villarreal sought, and Villarreal published those facts, consistent with her role as a journalist. Six months later, Villarreal was arrested for asking those questions. Making matters worse, Villarreal alleges that the arrest followed a months-long effort by a police department and district attorney’s office to retaliate against her because they disliked much of her reporting on their activities. Of course, that reporting was often critical of them. It should be obvious that this arrest violated the First Amendment. Yet the Fifth Circuit held that the officials were entitled to qualified immunity, and now Villarreal is left without a remedy. The Court today makes a grave error by declining to hear this case.
The Supreme Court refuses to review an odious 5th Circuit decision granting qualified immunity to Texas officials who arrested a citizens-journalist in retaliation against her posing questions to public officials. Sotomayor has an appropriately furious dissent: www.supremecourt.gov/orders/court...
Anyways, whatever. This is just a member of the Epstein Class complaining that people are using the phrase "Epstein Class" to describe her and her evil friends.
An obscure methodological tweak -- a change in the source of data on the price of legal services -- resulted in meaningfully lower monthly PCE inflation in January. That's prompting questions about why the change was made and why it wasn't disclosed publicly.

Moderate Democrats with columns in newspapers are constantly saying the Democratic Party is way too liberal on "social" issues. Moderate Democratic voters in real life do not feel this way. With some polling data from @gelliottmorris.com and @dataforprogress.org. newrepublic.com/article/2074...
Masnick: "This is what so many of us kept pointing out throughout the 'Twitter Files' hysteria: the 'free speech' grift was never about protecting individuals from the state. It was about protecting a specific type of speaker from the social consequences of their speech."
Community meme: I CAN EXCUSE FASCISM. BUTI DRAW THE LINE AT MERCANTILISM.
The Supreme Court:
this is what i mean when i say it is video game logic. as if you can choose change the slider to “centrist” and everything follows accordingly
NEW: Major, BFD action by blue states standing up to ICE.
Maryland, on Tuesday, banned local law enforcement from being part of ICE's notorious 287(g) program.
That automatically forces *9* sheriffs out of their ICE contract!
And New Mexico did the same last week:

I know it is wasting my breath addressing this, but no organization or group of people on the entire planet is even remotely competent enough to pull off a grand conspiracy of this type and scale.
The CIA struggles to kill just one terrorist in the third world deniably under Title 50 authorities.
A few hours ago the msm unquestioningly repeated the White House spin that Trump had changed his “tone.”
Downfall Bovino Edition. You're welcome.
The real issue is that they subscribe to a theory of electoral politics in which pissing off your base is a cost-free way to earn votes from the "middle" and, nonetheless, keep losing to outright fascists. 2/
I think "AI" is too broad- discriminative vs generative, and even GenAI has LLM vs other variants. LLMs are falling well short of the hype
DJT already copied XJPs takeover of the economic data ministries...
The Democratic commentators, "strategists," and data bros who've been counseling appeasement of Trump's fascism need to take responsibility for how unbelievably fucking wrong they were.
For history tells us that appeasement signals weakness, encourages escalation, and accelerates freedom's end.
A lot of people listen to the centrist strategists and “analysts” who wrongly argued Democrats shouldn’t talk about immigration because it would help Trump or some shit. You do have to wonder how that shaped Dem behavior in Congress, & how things could’ve been different w/ different info streams
man defiantly holding US flag while wearing protective gear, surrounded by tear gas & flares. the image is the same as above but wider to show more of the crowd plus a street sign.
photographer is Jeff Wheeler at the Star Tribune. guy with the flag is Curtis Evans, a Marine veteran.
once again i propose that the culture on x is simply just...there's a gas leak in my home but i refuse to leave/will just wait it out
I heard Chris Rufo is a Russian plant who flew with Jeffrey Epstein
And (2) this is precisely Chris Cillizza’s genre of political writing. (“Oh, the performance!”)
Cillizza somehow has a mass audience, even though I have never once encountered a person who reads him.
Think of Nuzzi as a younger, self-consciously blonder Cillizza.
Amazing how fast and comfortably US business elites transitioned to a Russia-Hungary-Turkey-style lawless kleptocratic oligarchy
The US accidentally invaded Mexico on Monday, storming a beach and planting DoD “restricted area” signs claiming the land for “the commander,” triggering a standoff w/ armed Mexican security forces, all because Trump’s government can’t even identify a border on a map
