Incredible shots in NM today! We’re all a bit jealous, if I’m honest.

Floyd, NM tornado sequence. Estimated start time was 5:18 p.m. and rope out at 5:40 p.m. Photos captured at 5:21, 5:25, 5:31 and 5:38 p.m. this evening.

#ICECHIP had a successful deployment in NE Colorado May 23rd 🧊🌪⛈️ (personally saw a tornado before seeing any hail, but the rest of the team got the frozen stones)

Today was the last day at NOAA for hundreds of employees who took an early retirement offer. Collectively, an estimated 27,000 years of experience left the agency. It goes without saying they will be missed. Their decades of service is commendable & appreciated.

I was a little sad with this week being the final episode of The Pitt and not having another show lined up to look forward to. I completely forgot about The Last of Us!

A package of cat toys from Dollar General that contains bread and milk toys, the staple of winter storm panic buying everywhere.

Nice of Dollar General to make sure cats are prepared for snowstorms.

That gave me such a dark chuckle.

We try to call that out as soon we we find this happening on cams, every time. Sad how often we see this.

No SPS's from Memphis for anything sub-severe in their WFO tonight.

Additionally, we won't be getting the normal trickle of info from the previous storms, expect to see info released in bulk.

A list of active warnings from GR2 from around the peak of activity on 4/2. It shows 27 different tornado warnings, 1 being a Tornado Emergency, 2 more being PDS, and an additional two being Observed. In addition, there's a plethora of SVR warnings, including some with the Considerable tag.

Saved this yesterday. Still in awe.

Ok... I think we did good. I believe I issued over 100 y'all watches, and I heard there were over 230 tornado warnings for the day. Coverage was immaculate and we peaked at 288,000 viewers for severe weather, a new high for the mode.

A giant mess of gravel and litter left behind after a snow pile melted away in a parking lot. Nearly out of frame on the right side are two ridiculously large potholes.

Southern friends, if you’ve ever wondered what’s left behind after those huge piles of snow melt in our parking lots up here, I’m here to satisfy your dull curiosity.

Where doe that gravel come from? We’re also left with giant potholes. Check the car-eaters at about 2 o’clock, almost out of frame.

Some info from storm surveys from last nights tornadoes in Arkansas, Missouri, and Indiana. The Cave City, AR was right at the threshold going from a strong to violent tornado. Still awaiting into from NWS St. Louis.

Long day! Now that I’ve had some time to scroll, I’m glad to see there was a lot more real time analysis and reporting here on BSky for Friday’s event then I’ve seen in the past.

Let’s keep that going and growing!
