The mon of the Ikoma: a yellow torii gate shaped like a lion on a orange-brown background, symbolizing the family's link to the spiritual realms.
The mon of the Asako: a hand holding a flaming quill in the process of drawing a circle, all in reddish tones on an orange background. The flames signify their Phoenix allegiance, while the quill and the drawing points to their focus on knowledge and ways to store it.

I finished a drawing after a roleplaying session of the Legend of the Five Rings featuring Daidoji Shi and Daidoji Tama (my player character!) sharing a nice, relaxing bath at night at an onsen by a shrine deep into Lion lands. I don't usually do backgrounds so this was nice practice for me ^^
