There's three different responses to the constitutional crisis that's unravelling across the 'UK'. The first is the Scare and Smear campaign. The second is to engage in Deep Denial. The third is to Flood the Zone.

On 7 May Wales faces a choice of two futures
Ambition or division.
Plaid Cymru or Reform.
Help us elect a government that will always stand up for Wales and stop Reform by voting Plaid Cymru on 7 May.
Good show today.
Glad you mentioned JC’s book.
Not afraid of fair criticism of SNP but launching an “attack” book on the SNP two weeks before an HR election raises a question mark over JC’s true intentions.
Tories in disarray at WM & HR.
Poor policies eg solve overcrowding in gaol by transporting prisoners to Estonia 🙄
Don’t know how to deal with RefUK.
Poor “paper” candidate; has anyone seen them?
Irrelevant, obnoxious, shouty party.
Congrats! 👏👏🥂
It’s for this very reason that Labour & the Tories have never really pushed dropping FPTP for a PR system.
RefUK will also pull back on electoral reform if they do well in GE29.
UK ref on AV in 2011 was a poor offer; deliberately so by the Tories. Surprised the LD’s went for it.
It is a big ask for PC to obtain ~50% of the vote across the board.
According to a recent YouGov MRP poll, PC have a projected median vote share of 33% which means it’s going to be tough to gain an outright majority via d’hondt.
PV providing 589 watts, 345 baseload usage, battery charging at 244 watts.
By 8:15am today solar was generating 70% more than our baseload usage.
On a cloudy day, in England, in April!
Agreed.
I believe we are close to the tipping point; once this is crossed, our media will need to wake up and smell the coffee otherwise their position will be seen to be completely ridiculous, akin to the curtain being pulled back to reveal “the wizard”.
Whilst PC winning the May election is big news, there is no chance of them winning a majority given the changes to the voting system.
Consequently, they’ll not be considered a threat (yet!) unlike the SNP.
The powers that be will probably aim to control PC (minority Gov) or PC/coalition partners.
But think what it would be like if there was a level playing field.
Supporting Indy is like pushing an extremely large bolder up a hill or driving a car with the handbrake on when it comes to our media. 🙄
Didn’t realise the constituency portion of the voting system in Wales has been dropped in favour of a full d’hondt system based on 16 constituencies. The electorate in Wales will only have one vote.
Consequently, it will be extremely difficult for one party to obtain a majority in the Senedd.
Got our solar panels installed this AM. They came at 8:30am and we're gone by 1:30pm. 13 panels and 10kwh battery.
We can't export to the grid yet (the network operator has been flooded with new requests) but we charged our car with the sun this afternoon. Great feeling, strongly recommend.
Hope you’ve got a good “told you so” dance ready to go! 😂
May 8/9th for obvious reasons.
That’s the self-proclaimed “Scotland’s Champion” for you! 🙄
If it ever came to pass (WTF), I wonder how long it would take to fall apart?
Hello. The Labour-fascist pact, suspended for five days of noisy and outraged Sarwar indignation, is back!
A poll has found a 'miserable' level of support for nuclear power in Scotland while more than half believe the main focus should be on renewables
And formulaic network programmes that could be made anywhere in the UK; Question Time, House of Games, Weakest Link etc
Clear evidence Scotland needs to be out of the UK by 2029
Photo of researcher in hat talking to pensioner with baseball cap on… Dave Taylor (left) debates the local elections with John Doult, who says he will vote Reform at the upcoming local elections in Swindon (The Independent)
But on a visit to the former railway town last month, the outlook for Sir Keir and his party was bleak. "I'll be voting for Reform - it can't get any worse," said pensioner John Doult, until now a lifelong Labour voter who was among the thousands employed in the town's once-famous car industry. The 86-year-old bemoaned the "terrible" state of the town centre,
“I’ll be voting for Reform - it can’t get any worse”
Oh it really can.
You put a bunch of corrupt, racist, incompetent, lying Trumpists in charge and things will get very much worse.
Potholes and empty shops will feel unimportant compared to the loss of the NHS, social care and a torched economy.
I think this sums up what many people think: Scotland has improved enormously under the SNP, much more than England under the London parties in the same period. We need to protect that, as well as building for the future.

Seems a tad harsh. They couldn’t foresee COVID, war in Ukraine & chaos in WM eg BJ & LT.
I’m interested to know what you thought they should’ve done?
Agreed.
So that’s his background; there had to be a connection to JC given some of his comments on the podcast.
The show isn’t the same without Pat.
TBF, Brexit negotiations were very protracted (voters got bored) & we eventually ended up with a very hard deal.
If the media had been fair & the end point known sooner/quicker, then things might have been different.
In the end up, Brexit was akin to boiling a frog in terms of the electorate.
I was disappointed when AS resigned following indyref in 2014.
I believed NS to be a good replacement (& still do).
How would the SNP have coped with AS, as leader, being taken to court in 2020? The media would’ve had a field day.
As it was, the fall out was damaging enough with NS at the helm.
It’s hilarious when Unionists pity my Scottish tax rate…we do pay more but we get more….
WM taxation means you have to pay corporations the privilege of going broke but Scotlands system is an investment in human dignity……
Thanks Neil 👍
I didn’t appreciate the indirect oversight UK has. I can see why it’s contentious especially with the Assisted Dying Bill. Hopefully any outstanding issues will be resolved.
