They were trying to get Starmer to resign from before he became PM. Two malicious police investigations over Covid (“curry gate”), something about a donkey, the list goes on and on. I’ve never seen anything like it.

No wonder the default position in this country is a Conservative government.

Starmer has been under fire so now back to Nigel Farage:

1. Who paid for his Clacton house?

2. Has Tice paid his tax bill?

3. Why does his company Thorn In Side Ltd own properties that are not declared?

5. What does he gain from supporting the likes of Nathan Gill?

🔴 Britain’s Solar Revolution Is Here and We Should Be Shouting It From the Rooftops

Ed Miliband is helping to turn the country into a nation of ‘solar zealots’ and I'm enthusiastically along for the ride. Thankfully I'm not alone.

A few weeks back I pointed out Aaron Newbury's fawning over Farage and Reform in his coverage of Bexley council election. He dismissed it.

But, subtly but very clearly, Aaron does tend to pander to Reform - including tagging in activists, in this instance ‘Reform Jamie’.

Interesting that Starmer is undeniably excellent in the international arena - where the UK media lose the power to dictate the narrative.

I think it’s fab having a strong PM. With the courage of his convictions.

The last five resigned/were sacked or called an election once the going got tough and they’d screwed things up so, so badly there was no other option.

Farage and his news media backers are waiting to trumpet his victory in the local elections. If they get their way Farage and the far-right will dominate the news and political agenda for another 12 months..

Let's derail their far-right bandwagon by voting in the local elections.

John Prescott's son stands for Green Party in Hull local elections John Prescott's son, David, is standing for the Greens in Hull's local elections.

Any suggestion it's a bad idea to let dodgy ex-Labour types with chequered pasts into my Green Party are completely wide of the mark. The way I see it, it's only fair for the Green Party Disciplinary Committee to have a bit of variety from cases of anti-semitism!

The media will not be happy until Nigel Farage is PM

A change of face in Labour will not stop them. Starmer knows this. He just makes their job extremely tough.

He shuts them out. In every sense. And he’s way smarter than them.

Always two steps ahead

Labour are a modern govt for this country. Reform Tories are a 19th century govt against hard working people, but for tax exiles for putting your council taxes up & for ruining the UK by selling it off.

Sensible, when you think about it why didn't this happen with the previous gov.

I thought the cabinet was private and confidential … so who is leaking? Ministers or civil servants?

2 hours ago 10 2 1 0

That’s exactly what a cabinet should be doing.. it’s called critical friend .. one voice outside, inside the room good discussion.. my concern is who’s leaking this to media.. because it’s intention is to disrupt and attack our govt ! Rather than report it you should be exposing the leak !

Again not a political statement, the stats at the moment are not showing that the public are really that bothered. I accept it bothers some, including yourself which I respect, but the problem with Johnson was it was personal as so many people were impacted by Covid and he treated it as a joke.

I’m hoping the changes made to minimum/living wages, 30 hours free child care, breakfast clubs, free school dinners, cheaper school uniforms, Sure Start hubs, youth clubs, SME’s getting their apprentices training paid start to make people feel a wee bit ‘cared for’ after 1st years of austerity?

The fruitcake, loonies and closet racist communities are well represented in Reform.
More nuts in them than there is in squirrel shit.

The US insulted the rest of the world. It is unsurprising that the rest of the world is turning away from the US. So don't be surprised that countries are turning away from 2nd rate & expensive US goods. You can talk all you like to your domestic audience but other countries don't care!

I called on innovators to partner with government to help build the next generation of cyber defences as we confront the threats and opportunities of frontier AI.

Palantir contracts were typical of the Tories, Mat Hancock, Michael Gove, Lee Rowley even the Ministry of Defence. A govt that risked the very heart our national security! The same rwing media supported this undermining of national security now attack Labour for absolutely nothing.

The Labour candidate in the Didsbury West ward for the elections on May 7th is Ben Williams. Ben is exactly the kind of dedicated local champion Didsbury West needs and I encourage residents to vote for him in the local election on May 7th 🌹 jeffsmithmp.com/ben-williams...
