This is my life for the rest of my life… Approaching six months since my cancer removal surgery!

“I am quickly approaching six months post surgery. What that means is I am also back into the swing of routine doctor visits, bloodwork, follow ups, calendar & phone call reminders (whether human or automated), scans, and more follow ups. This morning, my phone rang with another automated reminder.”

I need to find somewhere to donate these books I no longer want/need!! Anyone know of any place in metro Atlanta?!

Thirteen years ago TODAY I preached my initial/trial sermon, leading to me being licensed to preach in the AME Church.

Oh how so much has happened in such a short time! So much has changed since this day! Much more is to come!

I hate cancer.

I am grateful for life. But, I hate cancer and how my life has had to shift and adjust, and the compromises I’ve had to make since I became aware that it was in my body.

Plans and goals have had to change. My body has been changed. My focus has been interrupted. And the emotions!
