LISTEN: There are a lot of folks out here working tirelessly to get the truth out there. Replying to us that nothing matters because there'll be no consequences is not only incorrect, but it belittles the work we do. It's insulting and shortsighted. Stop following us if you don't want the info.

Good morning. The President of the United States was in the middle of the most serious child sex trafficking ring of the last quarter century.
He is referenced not a dozen times in the case files. Not 100 times. Not 1,000 times. He’s referenced 38,000 times.
The American people have put their lives on the line to resist ICE. Literally. ICE is a broken agency that does not deserve to exist. The necessary reforms must come very close to shutting down ICE and rebuilding it from the ground up.

It just get worse. Instead of administering CPR to a man who might still be alive, DHS officers were leering over the body, counting the bullet holes.
It’s not your imagination. The chaos caused by the Mad King has reached new heights—and we are only one year into his prescribed four-year term. It will likely get worse before it gets better. But we can survive and prevail if enough of us continue to resist on behalf of all of us.

Since taking office a year ago, Trump and his family have inflated their personal wealth by nearly $2 billion.
An estimated $1.3 billion of that has come from his burgeoning crypto grifts, which could put the rest of us at severe economic risk. https://youtu.be/gpCxV-cRY4o?si=hv3qQImBGP_XgwSA
I flew down to south Texas today to do my job - investigate why people are dying in ICE detention centers.
I was just illegally denied entry to Dilley Detention Center. Because they have something to hide.
An absolute disgrace.
I made this video so we can talk about what ICE is actually doing in our cities. I have the details and you need to hear them. Please share this.
ICE isn't targeting criminals or even people here illegally. They are just making up the law - every day. Here's what's going on.
BREAKING — Mayor of Lewiston, Maine posts on FB that ICE is coming to the city imminently. This confirms my reporting the agency is planning a surge in the city and state generally.
Lewiston is home to a large Somali-American population, which made up 4.6% of the population as of the 2020 census.
Although we are awaiting reliable estimates, the Ice Out for Good protests were a solid start to the mass action movement that will end Trump's lawless rampage. To succeed, we must mobilize a significant portion of the American populace on a consistent, ever-increasing basis.

Maps of Ice Out for Good Events all over the USA

Don't let this Jan 6th point get lost:
Jack Smith testified to Congress he had "proof beyond a reasonable doubt that President Trump engaged in a criminal scheme to overturn the results of the 2020 election."
In other words, he could prove in court that Trump attempted a coup.
Last night I wrote to you about Trump’s desperate efforts to rewrite history. Today, on the taxpayer funded WH website, he’s using our resources to pursue Orwellian 1984ish revisions. It’s our job to stop him. open.substack.com/pub/joycevan...
Facts.
Jack Smith told lawmakers Trump was 'the most culpable' in election interference case, deposition transcript shows www.nbcnews.com/politics/con...
It’s not about drugs. If it was, Trump wouldn’t have pardoned one of the largest narco traffickers in the world last month.
It’s about oil and regime change.
And they need a trial now to pretend that it isn’t. Especially to distract from his sinking under Epstein and skyrocketing healthcare costs.
Trump says we need to go after drug cartels.
Meanwhile, he disbanded a DOJ task force that took them on.
And he pardoned a former Honduran president convicted of drug trafficking.
Trump doesn't care about drugs — he wants to be able to declare war on anyone he labels an enemy.
It's a power grab.
We must abolish the electoral college and gerrymandering, publicly fund elections,
automatically register voters, release every candidate's tax history, make elections a holiday, use a ranked choice voting system, provide proof of vote accuracy, and create universal term limits.
This is possibly the most significant attack on trans rights in this country yet, and I can count the number of posts on my timeline about this on my hands.
If you're trying to dismiss this thinking "It'll die in the senate," DON'T! Sound the alarms now!
Stay strong. You're great and we need you properly represented. Thanks for your work.
BREAKING: The House of Representatives passed a bill that would criminalize gender-affirming care for transgender youth under 18 and put doctors in prison for providing this care.
This bill is an unjustifiable threat to the well-being of trans youth and their families. The Senate must reject it.
Rep. Adelita Grijalva was pepper-sprayed by ICE agents during a raid last week.
Remember: ICE is getting $170B in new funding from Trump's Big Ugly Bill and lowering its hiring standards.
If Trump's thugs can do this to a member of Congress, they can do it to you.
1. Some good news at last. This week’s column is about the amazing thing a couple of us stumbled into three years ago, which we’ve now developed into a global research programme. It doesn’t change everything, of course, but it could help change quite a lot. + 🧵 www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...
As the mom of a five-year-old reading this and imagining what this family is going through made me physically ill. Unimaginable evil is being perpetrated before our eyes and with our tax dollars.
The world's 10 richest people (nearly all from the U.S.) are collectively $500 billion richer this year thanks to growth in stocks tied to AI.
Meanwhile, data centers are sucking up communities’ water and electricity.
AI is making the rich even richer while everyone else pays the price.
Appreciate this coverage but it is hard to explain to people not in the Chicago area that THESE ARE NOT PROTESTS.
This is people coming out of their homes, doing anything in their power to try to stop their neighbors from being kidnapped.
It is coming for your city next, please be prepared.
David A. Graham writes in The Atlantic about the various ways Trump could rig the midterms. He notes that modern autocrats don’t cancel elections. They hold unfair elections to fool people into thinking they’re not living in a dictatorship. It’s called “competitive authoritarianism.” (Gift link)
To all who are attending a No Kings rally tomorrow,
Trump and figures in his administration are attempting to smear the rallies as hateful and violent. We know that’s not true, so don’t take the bait. Keep it calm. Keep it safe. Keep it joyful.
See you out there!
