Today is National Peculiar People Day. In other words the day that celebrates me and all of my friends.
Yes-his show started with “I’m not political” and then he told a story about busting a producer’s chops when she asked him his pronouns, and then he went on to tell a story about someone who corrected him when he called someone homeless rather than unhoused. It was awful.
Watched the Fluffy special. I kept waiting for him to say that updating your language matters. He didn’t. He doubled down on anti-trans “comedy”. And the crowd cheered. Tell me you voted for TFG without telling me you voted for TFG.
So bloody depressing that we’ve come to a point where you can’t even pretend that government has anything to do with the people.
