It’s a nice spring day, but hardly peak cherry blossom crowds down by the National Mall and Tidal Basin. But the 15th Street protected lane that the Trump administration will start tearing out next week was still busy with people on bikes and scooters; locals and tourists alike.

Any traffic engineer signing off on removing a safety intervention - that has plenty of data backing up its effectiveness - could/should be liable

Luckily the bike lane ends sign is wrong! It turns into a protected lane 3 blocks up too (:

With phase rotation, however, the left turn phase can either come before (leading) or after (lagging) depending on estimated streetcar arrivals.

This *significantly* reduces delays for transit riders!

Curbs in the snow cleared separated bike lane

@streets.boston.gov please remove the pre cast curbs from the mass ave bike lane across from clear way street. This is a major safety hazard for all road users and someone will be hurt.

I honestly find it’s the older cars that have the problem more. I think folks without LEDs feel like their lights aren’t bright enough so they put on high beams to compensate.

Anyone else noticing a lot more people driving with their high beams on all the time?

I hate being in Ubers because in my experience they always turn on red illegally or break other laws. Please just obey the law? I just want to get to my destination safely…
