The 7 year celebration starts tonight on Twitch as I start my venture in Quest for Glory to become a hero using magic and hopefully join WIT and become a wizard hero that uses magic to solve his problems. Join me tonight and every Wednesday until we finish all five games.

I seem to get stuck on simple puzzles and convoluted ones don't phase me because when it is a matter of trying everything on everything else, I'm excellent at it. 😂

Mark your calendars and your alarms and prepare yourself because my 7 year streaming anniversary is coming soon. I'm going to be playing through the entire Quest for Glory series as a magic user for the first time. I'm going to start April 15th and every Wednesday after, until it is complete.

I know that ScummVM has the ability to do that conversion, I'm not sure about the engine itself. The main feature that I wanted was more memory because SCI0 is unforgiving in that regard and I know they had issues with it during the development of OfG 1.

I've been able to get the Quest for Glory 2 style inventory screen working, which is very exciting for me.

I learned that I can use the SCI01 engine, used for Quest for Glory 2, and I've almost completely ported Quest for Erasmus over to the new engine. This gives me access to digital sound effects, around 4 times more memory (which has been a problem), and other enhancements. New release, coming soon.

I don't even remember if I was any good at it. Something tells me that I wasn't and just played it because it was there though.

I'm going to be starting the adventure game Chronomaster tonight around 10pm EDT. Prior to that, I'm going to be performing a stream takeover playing the second UFO 50 game, Bug Hunter. I'll be starting at 8pm EDT and I hope to see you there.

I played it and it was very good. Not sure if it has been fixed, but the font is very bad in ScummVM to the point of being unreadable, but it does run.

If you have some time, I'd love it if you would be able to make a screen for the game. Some of the screens were created by me in a hurry and I'd love to get some other people helping with the final look of the house. I've always wanted this to be a collaborative project.

I still plan on completing the story and make a full game, but I wanted to get the game in state that I believe that I can expand on the game jam version has memory issues and after watching people play it had a number of other problems. So, I've decided to focus on fixing those things first.

I've been working on releasing a post jam version of "Quest for Erasmus" after taking a break and the number of bugs that I've found has been quite significant. I've also redone the entire internal inventory system, adding full support for right-click "look" and added a lot to text parser.

I'm going to be streaming Infested, a short sci-fi adventure games in the style of Shadowgate and Deja Vu, tonight on Twitch starting at 8pm EST. All games that I play have been picked and voted on by the community.

Viewers pick pretty much every game that I play via a promotion and voting system, but I have played Quest for Infamy and Order of the Thorne. I have yet to play A Golden Wake, but it is up the viewers to make it happen. The only games that I tend to pick are short (< 1 hour) games.

Maybe a replay of some of the best games that I've streamed? Another option would be to play the entire Quest for Glory series as a Magic User (which I haven't done before).

One thing that I'm really bad about is celebrating milestones. I hit 500 adventure games completed last year and I didn't do much to celebrate. I'm likely to hit 600 this year and I want to do something for it.

If I've learned anything on my challenge to beat all PC graphical adventure games, it is that I can find joy in most games that focus on a story. I have only a few games at my lowest rating and those very much deserve to be there. For those curious, the worst game has been "Fork in the Tale."

It was super fun to watch this come together. I learned a lot from watching!
