As with his default SHELL form, they are white with black sections and red accents, but each has distinct traits suited to their specialisations. Blast (left) is thinner than base, with natural exhausts on his elbows, pipes leading from the core to his shoulders, a fleshy cape on his right shoulder, a rounder forehead crest and the back of his head flicks upwards, with a black section on the bottom. His arms have a red line down them (outlining the bicep and ending bending back round just before the wrist) and he has two red indents in his shoes. Shield (right) has a much more muscular frame, with boxier shape language for his markings and crest, two samurai-esque flaps on his helmet, a squarer chin and arm armour that extends from the hands smoothly upwards into a point at the shoulder. It has three red markings like sharp Us, and the inner arm is left exposed black. around his neck is a red collar.

Akio's Blast and Shield modes!

When Akio masters his Fusillade and Palisade skills, he can specialise his SHELL form to amp them up even more. Blast fires high-intensity energy bullets with maximum precision, while Shield's Palisade walls are stronger than steel.

Several of the titular SHELLs from the user's personal project, SHELL. They are all based on a human host. The rightmost is the most basic, grey and lanky with a single blue 'core' in the 'visor', a mouth below that following the same jagged pattern, both outlined in white. The white accents form around its upper thighs and knees too, with the biceps, side of torso, palms, front of neck and soles of the feet being black and striped with muscle fibres. Above it and to the left is a speed-focused SHELL, yellow and aerodynamic, with a small thruster in its back, a long head and fin-like protrusions on its elbows, back and hips. To the left of that is the defense and energy focused SHELL, blue and bulky with several ridges in its armour (outlined in white), extending beyond the shoulders and elbows, and very large forearms. Its neck is also quite thick, and outlined in a ridged plate. Its core is orange. The last is a SHELL focused on pure power, red and spiny, with spikes focused on the elbows, knees and back, claws on the hands and a two-pronged back of head. Its core is yellow.

Some examples of human-based SHELLs specialised into different forms.

Depending on how a SHELL prefers to operate, it'll change shape and colour- red for power, yellow for speed and blue for energy used in fusillade and palisade.
