Mahou Tsukai Pretty Cure

Out of all the precure series I'm surprised this one has actual form changes like a kamen rider show. It's a small team that compliments each other well, and even thought the later villains aren't as solid the girls do a good job at holding down the entertainment.

Princession Orchestra

A show surprisingly similar to Si-Vis in places. A lot of what I had to say about that show applies here, but I'll also add that the more relaxed and casual feel of the episodes really fits nicely as a cozy experience to sit back and enjoy.

Time Time for "Torture", Princess

The best way to describe this show is cozy. It's good feels and good vibes with a cast of lovable sillies. I'm mildly surprised at how good they made the food look even when it takes more of a back seat a times for appreciated character moments.

Si-Vis: The Sound of Heroes

This show is one that struck me in ways I never could've predicted. It uses the theme of connecting people through song fantastically while also tackling burnout and grief, and I have to applaud how well everything comes together. It's just... such an experience.

Maho Girls PreCure! the Movie: The Miraculous Transformation! Cure Mofurun!

One might expect a mascot-focused movie to be hard to pull off, but this shows that it's possible as long as you commit and give them good characterization. Genuinely wonderful throughout.

Kamen Rider Eins with Girls Remix

I honestly wish these were a bit longer so the plot wasn't so rapid-fire, but for what it is it's a solid time. Especially since it also brought back a great rider in the process.

Chainsaw Man

This is... An interesting one. It has some fascinating themes and emotion throughout, but it never fully clicked after the first part ended. Overall not a bad read though. Denji is a good boy and I wish he wasn't plagued by his carnal desires.

Mystery shows live and die by the mystery itself. This one manages to feel satisfying and tense as we unravel the mystery behind one woman's wrongful execution, then tie that into a larger plot that endagers so many others. A bit much to process at times but great.

Dead Account

Come for the silly smartphone powers, stay for the genuine heart of the cast. I went from laughing at this show's more wacky premise to laughing with it as it fully committed and loving the cast. It handles hard topics well and I appreciate that. Praise be Master Hiyori.

The Demon King's Daughter is Too Kind!

The best way to describe this is a kid's adventure story told from the perspective of a demon lord's daughter. Doux is precious and lightens a dark setting by merely existing, overwhelming everyone with the beauty of kindness.

Bobo's Big Tower

If you like bump-type combat this is the game for you. A nice and simple rouge-like where you're climbing a tower with cute creatures for various goals. Nothing too insane but it's good fun. Do unlock the curses though - they can actually make the game easier.

Neo Yoroiden: Samurai Troopers

I wanted to like this. The cast was great, there was growth for them, and then at the end we dump all of that to give the OG troopers major focus while also making the villain super op beyond fuck all. This is a show where the ending drops it to the shit abyss

Kamen Rider Gav: Guilty Parfait

A post-story movie, in my opinion, should either close doors left open or open new ones. This manages to do both literally, rounding out the growth of the main riders and showing how the characters around them changed as well. Genuinely a fantastic trio.

Tojima Wants to be a Kamen Rider

What matters in life is passion and love. If you have those two things then you can face anything. Never give up on the things you care about, even if they feel embarrassing sometimes. This show is both exceptionally silly and full of heart.

Playing Death Games to Put Food on the Table

This is a show about a deranged world. One where death games are a sport. It fully commits to that premise, and the directing alone is phenomenal at providing a sense of tension. Only watch if you can handle high stress.

Kamen Rider Kabuto

This is a show where the main plot is pretty shaky at times, but you don't watch it for that. You watch it for the absolute creatures that are the cast members and to see what shenanigans they get up to. Surprisingly heartfelt at times too.

The Forest's End

A short and simple metroidvania that scratches the itch with gameplay-wise with a cute robot as the lead. For being made in 30 days it's pretty solid. Only real problem is the plot feels like it's missing something.

One Piece: Dead End Adventure

Saw this on a whim with some friends and was pleasantly surprised by how fun it was. Wacky races paired with some heart about living through adversity makes this a great chill time. Someone get Luffy more food.
