As a Smash fan, I was all-in for Rivals of Aether 2—until I found out it was being published by Offbrand Games.

My position on this is clear. I'm not paying any companies delusions. And even as a Nintendo long time fan and not being that much into turn-based Gameplays... I would pay and play this game thousands of times before even considering touching any Switch 2 game with a stick

The game respects their players at all levels. It respects their time investment with its mechanics and how characters develop, and it respects their wallets with a more than fair price, no micro transact., even offering collector's editions for a fraction of the price of other, empty boxed, games

Expedition 33 is not only an amazing and beautiful game, proof of what the love for videogames of a bunch of talented people can turn into... But also a good precedent that directly collides and fights with the nonsensical price rises other companies want us to believe are normal

I have loved Nintendo games to my whole heart content since I was 6 years old... but this is just not the way. As consumers we should not forget what's fair over hype, fomo and stomach butterflies.

Nintendo is the best at doing games, but terribly awful as a company selling products and services.

If we don’t push back, every company will start charging us for production costs over decisions we didn't even had a say in, and we'll start finding it normal until we no longer complain (till next rise)

The only way to stop this, as with every other abusive product in market, is not consuming it.

Nintendo being all magic and nostalgia makes us sometimes forget that unfortunately they are a company with zero market sense and infinite greed.

90€ for a game that is going to be content-dead in <1 year is unjustifiable no matter the argument, and it sets an awful precedent.
