2 new books out this month. My first book from Insight Editions – Captain America: The Illustrated History and Daredevil: The First 60 Years from Titan. All this and a guest spot at the first Liverpool Book Festival next month. It's enough to make me feel like a writer. Take that Imposter Syndrome!

Looking forward to this later this year. I'll be doing my double act with Tim Quinn as we talk all things Marvel! www.lavidaliverpool.co.uk/literary-leg...
Says it all.
First look at my first book for Insight Editions... amzn.eu/d/7X8JoW8 Out this July—which is also my birthday month!
Hold on. Pilks old head office in my hometown of St Helens is the spitting image of the Baxter Building... but there's no Fantastic Four inside... which would explain why Galactus was able to destroy St Helens and leave only ruins... #FF
That moment when you realise Back to the Future 2, that film you once watched that was set 30 years in the future is now set 10 years in the past!!
Great signing Saturday at St Helens Bookstop with Leigh Gallagher, Tim Quinn and Nigel Parkinson. Nice to do a comic event in my home town. Here's to the next one...
A hometown signing! #StHelens
Hometown signing in Jan. Really looking forward to it. Especially as I'll be alongside 3 comic pals!!
This is true about me.
Photo of a Calvin & Hobbes episode. Panel 1: Calvin: The best thing about captain steroid comic booksis that every issue is number one. Hobbies: Every issue? Panel 2: Calvin: Sure! that way they're ALL collector items. These will be worth billions of dollars some day. Panel 3: Calvin: Of course, they're so cleaply printed you have to preserve them in plastic bags but it's a small investment for such a guaranteed return. Panel 4: Hobbes: Gosh. And I keep buying bonds. Calvin: Look at the great committee that drew THIS issue!
It's Christmas Eve, I've grabbed my brother's Complete Calvin & Hobbes and suddenly everything is a bit too close to home.
Think I've solved the AI problem for creators. AI companies can datamine and steal as much work as they want as long as artists, writers and musicians can go in to their homes and steal their possessions.
Don't mind... as long as he doesn't mind me going into his home and stealing all his stuff. Fair's fair.
So next July is all about who does best at the box office... Superman or the Fantastic Four?
Black Doves is rather ace. Two eps in and hooked. Also a bit of me wants to see a Black Doves/Slow Horses crossover!
Sitcom idea. After they're both overthrown, Putin and Bashar al-Assad move to Tooting, South London, share a flat and sign on the dole... with hilarious results.
Oddly enough it's now owned by some gvt linked multinational overseas development type agency that sound a little like SHIELD to me!
A lot of people ask what did an editor do at Marvel UK circa 1994? A typical day in the best office ever... #Marvel

Flashback to my first full time editorial job at Games Workshop in the early 90s, trying to get their Warhammer comic off the ground. Still a little sad our Warrior-size mag featuring the likes of Bill King, Simon Coleby, Kev Walker and Colin MacNeil didn't get out the door... #comics #GW #Warhammer
I'm totally against capital punishment... apart from for people who use their phone in the cinema!
Sold three copies of Zombie 18 this month on Amazon so will soon be retiring on the 63p that earns me. And to think, some people say writing doesn't pay!
Joking... but also seems worth putting a bet on! :)
Greg Wallace already confirmed for the next series of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here...
Football's ace! YNWA!! #LFC
Please Don't Destroy are the best thing about SNL... www.youtube.com/watch?v=OyID...
The Christmas Spider-Man issue is out this week from Panini in the UK! Issue 453... seems only a minute ago we launched the thing! www.panini.co.uk/shp_gbr_en/s...
Love Millar's work. Also a big fan of his Thraxas books. One of the best fantasy series out there... imho.
