Good news everyone, my dad’s been discharged from the hospital. He’ll be resting at home for the next seven days, no carrying heavy objects for a month. Thank you for your prayers and well wishes. I'll be helping him out while also drawing and workin on stuff at home

Eh, I suppose I could just make my own game inspired by Azure Dreams. Would be cool if I can find the time and resources to do it.

Kid goes into a dangerous tower every day to find treasures and makes money to help his hometown. A simple, relatable motivation.

I don't know how many dungeoncrawling RPGs with monster-raising mechanics also include using the money you got to develop your hometown and help build libraries and hospitals. Azure Dreams, despite its flaws, stays charming to me it for all that.

I wonder how much Azure Dreams as an IP is worth... and if maybe someday I can buy it from Konami.

I know, VERY unlikely, but it would be... nice to own and then make a new entry for a game that really influenced me as a teen. Azure Dreams helped me realize I could use wealth to help my community.
