The moment Biden got elected, the Dem institutional complex was like "Welp, thank goodness all that nonsense is now behind us and over forever and will never be a problem ever again. No need to worry about it or make sure it doesn't happen in the future."

‘Simply stop giving millionaires water for literally free’ is one of the most insane sounding but actually serious policy solutions out there
My soulmate is out there finishing fries that could’ve been shared with me
If there are any Democrats who are thinking of running for the presidency on 2028 on anything less than a clear agenda of widespread prosecution for this administration's corruption and fundamental structural changes to ensure it can't happen again, they should just stop right there.
I wish the tech industry a very deep and long lasting crash that breaks this thirst for permanent high growth from greedy investors. We should break them until they learn to have reasonable profit expectations and make investments based on safety instead of vibes and hype again.
The “Calvin’s dad explains two types” meme, inspired by a Calvin and Hobbes cartoon. Clockwise from top left: 1) Calvin’s dad walks into frame to find Calvin trying to operate a record player. The dad says: “There are only two industries left in America: gambling, and fraud.” 2) The dad shows where the record goes, and how to turn on the player, while Calvin watches. Dad says “Derivatives? Gambling. AI? Fraud. Video games? Gambling. Social media? Fraud.” Calvin says “yeah”. 3) With one hand open palm up, Calvin’s dad cheerfully explains to Calvin out of frame below him, “The stock market looks like gambling, but it’s actually fraud.” 4) In bed in a dark room, Calvin clutches at his pillow, eyes wide in existential terror. There is no text in the panel.
Matt Walsh @MattWalshBlog A weird thing is that whenever I post criticism of Al, the majority of the people agreeing with me seem to be leftists. It's pretty much the only position I hold that seems to be more popular with the left than the right. It should be the opposite. My whole point about Al (especially Al in creative fields) is that it isn't human, it doesn't have a soul, and we cannot surrender our society to an unhuman soulless algorithm even if it makes our lives easier in some ways. It's very strange that an argument predicated on the existence of the soul resonates with the left while conservatives tend to scoff at it. 3:02 PM • Mar 12, 2026 • 748.5K Views
"for unknown reasons, my mortal enemies appear to be concerned with the core essence of humanity in a way that my allies are not. oh well, better not think about it too hard."
It's Monday. Let's get that bread.
Wishing a happy Brian’s Hat Day to all who celebrate.
I'm starting to yearn for the Demolition Man future where we are ruled by Taco Bell

A WHOLE CIVILIZATION WILL DIE TONIGHT My son needs lunch, and I have to put his backpack together, but a whole civilization will die tonight, so I'm wondering if they've closed their schools. Like, a snow day, maybe, except instead of snow it's "keep your children home so if you die, you die together" — instead of "well open back up once the plows have cleared" it's "we don't know if we'll be here tomorrow, hold your babies tight." It's just "talk" I'm told, which I've been told before. "It's how the president makes his deals." But I've never heard anyone talk about other human beings this way, and I'm not certain I can look my son in the eyes if we all agree to stomach it one more time. A civilization will die tonight, but as I zip up his backpack and kiss him off to school I think: if this is what we call leadership then I'm not entirely sure ours isn't already dead. @michaelfdubois Mukad A QuBoy @michacifdubois
Brutal.
I keep thinking about this. I remember hoovering the house the Saturday after inauguration and realising that for the first time in 4 years I wasn’t carrying an extra ten pounds of worry on my shoulders.
I will never forgive those in power who gave Americans the option to vote for this again.
Armageddon is terrible, but our only other option was diversity trainings at work.
You can be opposed to the Iranian regime AND the reckless bombing of school kids.
You can support the troops AND be opposed to sending them into senseless wars.
You are not an antisemite if you decry the Israeli regime’s genocidal rampage.
Don’t let morons impose their idiotic view of the world.
soul nate @MNateShyamalan man: but what about the times i saw 8 footprints on the beach? spiderchrist: [hiding in the shadows] oh that was just normal beach stuff. step into the web my child
I look at the unfathomable beauty and majesty of this image, realizing it contains basically the entirety of our collective existence, and I get so sad knowing that humans are *still* killing each other over tiny scraps of land, or which imaginary deity they prey to, on this tiny spec in the cosmos.
yes you fucking morons free preschool for everyone or it becomes just "free preschool for the poors" and then you call them leeches and ask for tax breaks when really we want free preschool for everyone because we want smart well adjusted kids why is this so hard?

An illustration loosely depicting the Last Supper but with five versions of The Joker. Heath Ledger’s as Jesus. The others are from the Adam West era, next to Joaquin Phoenix. To the right is Jared Leto and then Jack Nicholson.
Good Friday to you too
Dark universe planet logo instead of the earth because I’m stupid.
Troubling new Artemis II photo of Earth.
This is so, so well-articulated.

Yep. There was someone on here going on about how they NEEDED AI to draw and they had TRIED every way to learn and it was impossible and…
Maybe they just don’t like drawing? And that’s okay? And maybe they could try a different creative outlet? Instead of… that?
People really memory holed-covid, due to a huge far right propaganda effort. That's why all you hear about is lockdowns, and not:
- hospitals out of capacity
- Skype calls with family members in quarantine as they died
- bodies stored in freezer trailors
- mass graves in NYC
Iran just reportedly hit an Oracle data center in Dubai and i can't stop thinking about how good it would feel to see my tax dollars spent firing Tomahawk cruise missiles at data centers.
