I had to deal with one DDOS attack in the 2000s. It was a completely random target selection, just exercising/testing their botnet, but, fortunately, it was a low-importance web asset for us, so I was able to protect the most important by dropping the target IP from the F5's.

I used to buy cheap K Mart cassettes to use for recording songs off the radio. I played one a few years ago and it didn't break, but I do believe a couple broke 20 years. The tapes would be from around 1983. Pretty sure the quality of cassette used for album releases isn't much higher, however.
