When are endorsements decided?

After precinct caucuses, the parties will hold local conventions in the coming months and will hold their state conventions to endorse candidates in late May.

I forget - what happens next? Like is it delegates who actually vote for the nomination? When is that convention?

Could my #caucus friends please consider “uncommitted” for governor? So far #Klobashar is the only one running (that I know of) and she is so wrong for MN now. We need a leader who will bring us justice, not “reaching across the aisle.” Her brand of politics is useless these days.

Something like “repeal citizens united.” Or “money out of politics.” Something to make it so anyone who is running for governor would be prohibited from accepting tens of thousands in campaign donations from single sources.

I was just about to say the same thing. @jchavezmpls.bsky.social - your current work on the ground in Mpls is amazing and inspirational, and MN at large needs some inspiration in contrast to Klob. Please don’t let the DFL just hand her the governorship.

I have called her and I know of dozens of voters who do the same, but then she comes out with a mamby-pamby “my friends across the aisle” statement that contradicts us.

It’s almost as if organizations who donate thousands of dollars to her campaign matter more. 🤔

There needs to be a competitive primary. So far it’s “Isn’t First Avenue Cool!?” And crickets.
