This weekend marks the beginning of my event season for 2026! It sure is a treat to step out of my studio once in a while and hang out with y’all 💚 Here’s where you’ll find me (so far) this year!
I’ll be updating this post as more dates get confirmed, stay tuned! 🌱
“Singing Oak”

Spent the week getting the Spring Collection all framed up and off to new homes 🌱
Goodbye’s are a bit sad, but it’s rewarding to know these pieces will be treasured by kindred spirits!
There’s a few original painted leaves from past collections still available on my site! 🍁
“Through Oak”
Painted on a preserved oak leaf 🌙
From the Moonlight Collection last year
Like so many of us, the moon’s had my full fascination these days. The Artemis II mission stream was on constantly here in the studio, and I’m so glad to see the crew safely back home!
They’re here! 🌼
Each leaf is carefully mounted on linen, and framed in a shatter-proof gallery frame. And of course, prints of each piece are available too!
You can shop all original paintings here!

“Among Hydrangeas”
Painted on a preserved hydrangea leaf 🦋
I planted a hydrangea in our backyard 3 years ago, and it’s never put out any flowers. But at least I get leaves to paint! 🥲
This piece will be available in Friday’s update, but prints are available now!
It’s almost time! 🌼

Alright y’all, I’m finally ready to come clean…
As much as I wish I painted all these leaves myself, the truth is…
They just grow like that.
“Lady Luck”
Painted on a preserved maple leaf 🐞
I don’t think I’ll ever outgrow the thrill of a ladybug’s visit, or finding a four leaf clover 🍀

“Emergence”
Painted in acrylic on a preserved white oak leaf 🦋
It’s a desk-work day in the studio today, (turns out that being an artist doesn’t mean just painting every day… booo!!) so I’m looking back on this little painting from the Small Worlds Collection last spring 🌼
“Glowing Tulips”
Painted on a preserved tuliptree leaf 🌷

What a joy it was to paint these 3 ginkgo leaves for the lovely folks at NC State CHASS 🐺
I pressed these leaves from campus years ago during my time as a student there. They’ve been in the studio since, waiting for the perfect project to come along—and it sure did!
“Fiddlehead Climber”
Painted on a preserved maple leaf 🐌
I’ve got a few snails living in a terrarium in my studio. I think I heard them ask to be in my painting this morning! 🌱
“Wishes Made”
Painted on a preserved river birch leaf 🌼
It seemed fitting to paint some dandelions today. They’re starting to pop up everywhere around here!
I always feel the most connected to my art practice during seasonal changes. That might just be my favorite thing about painting on leaves!
I gathered these leaves last summer, and like kept promises, now they hold stories of the warmer days ahead 🌼
Little signs of spring’s arrival are everywhere, and it’s all I want to paint these days 🐝🌱
“Before Becoming”
Painted on a preserved maple leaf 🌱
A little monarch caterpillar snacks on milkweed, with so much beautiful change ahead of her 🦋
“A New Morning”
Painted on a preserved ginkgo leaf ⛅️
Every time I paint on a ginkgo leaf, I can’t help but visualize the leaf’s radiating veins as rays of sunlight ☀️
Just a moment for the tiny honeybee in “Blooming Hope,” painted in acrylic on a preserved beech leaf 🐝
“Blooming Hope”
Painted on a preserved beech leaf 🌼
It’s been a very busy year so far, (what a gift!!) but I’ve noticed myself slipping into a more rushed practice to keep up. So yesterday, I finally let myself slow down, and spend some time studying daffodils!
“Among Blossoms”
Painted on a preserved beech leaf

A little throwback to the Birdsong Collection from last spring! I’m starting to see the first signs of spring again, and I just can’t wait until the trees are full of leaves again! 🍃
“Vine Walker”
Painted on a preserved ivy leaf 🐞
Looking back on a favorite of mine from the Small Worlds Collection in 2025. I sure do love painting ladybugs 🥰
