Donate to A Battle for Truth and Accountability in Saskatchewan, organized by Tammy Robert Have run into hiccup with GFM's AI identity verification. I'm again… Tammy Robert needs your support for A Battle for Truth and Accountability in Saskatchewan

Safe or not, I don't have a choice.

Hey… so this came up recently… the Queen City Improvement Bureau's 10th anniversary is this Halloween. Would you consider going to a live Halloween-adjacent live show if we did one? Would you consider paying to attend such a thing to help us cover the cost of renting the venue?

Honest question that doesn't feel safe to ask on Twitter.
I have to decide how hard to fight this lawsuit from Kevin Doherty, which demands punitive shutdown of my public commentary: socials, podcast and Substack.
Do I have the support for a GoFundMe for legal?
5y ago, no worries.
Today? I'm unsure.

New civic pride candle and diffuser aim to encapsulate Regina’s unique scent Two items now for sale at city hall gives visitors to the Queen City a chance to take home a unique memory of Regina, its scent.

oKAY, but who wants their house to smell like swamp in spring? Isn’t that just sulphur and disappointment?

Influencer Kristi is performing online MAGA norms for the adulation of the online crowd.

Norms were rewired by the incentive structure of communicating on X. That’s the attention game she needs to win to maintain power and clout among the influencers & crowd she cares about.

Saskatchewan’s Wild West: Digging Our Own Graves Through Lax Regulation and Government Hype Critical mineral industry? What an absolute joke.

I published this yesterday, no paywall.
All this breathless talk about critical and rare earth minerals in Saskatchewan - what does it actually mean?
This industry really doesn't exist in Canada or anywhere except China.

Saskatchewan Has Paid a Republican Lobbyist Millions of Dollars, Yet Here We Are It's so nice of Scott Moe to have provided years of generous and stable monthly funding to the same GOP politicians he's on his knees in front of right now because they're trying to end us.

Shout out to @tammyrobert.bsky.social for doing all this research months ago.

Prof says trapper's boar kill shows 'tsunami of wild pigs' is encroaching on northern Sask. | CBC News A wild boar shot by a hunter on the edge of the Boreal forest is raising concerns about how far the invasive species is migrating on the Prairies.

here for @ryankbrook.bsky.social this morning! www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...
Question, Ryan: I used to live up by Nipawin. I understood this disaster somewhat started up there, by a farm that just let their boars go. Is it not totally normal for boar to found up there anymore?

Municipalities in Saskatchewan - across Saskatchewan - have been donating to the Sask Party for years.
So has the Sask Teachers' Federation and more than a few unions.
Pointing out all of this has earned me nothing more than the ire of this entire fucking province.
But sure Kate, brag about it.

Look, I'm not arguing with you again or answering a bunch of rhetorical questions. I said what I said, clearly. You don't agree. Cool.

I think she screwed up big time by a) announcing that she'd never left the fucking country before she was elected then b) jetsetting with the Sask Party to Paris and Dubai, ffs. Like god, how stupid was she?

I would have no problem with that as most of her issues were being manipulated by others and having to handle others who were problematic. She started well, it got all messed up, but she'd steered it clear and safe in the end. It was a learning curve. But at least Nelson & Bresciani are gone.

Yes, but... that's still not ideal.
I genuinely believe Masters would have been granted a second term by many if not most Regina voters if she was a man.
Keep in mind that virtually every voter on these social media platforms is not "many if not most" - you are an anomaly who pays attention.
