like i've seen Neopets (poorly) try to bring a new kid audience to the site, and it's so decayed and full of an established economy from us elder players it's hard for newer people to properly get in to. something new needs to be built from the ground up i fear

funnily enough club penguin (at least private servers + places like Journey) and neopets STILL exist, it's moreso a matter of someone making a new site for kids at this point as opposed to trying to bring a new audience to a site full of 20-30 y/o veteran players
