Two resources if you wanted to look into it more: Neurodivergant insights has a misdiagnosis Monday series comparing OCD, autism and ADHD. And Lyndsey Mack's substack has a number of resources comparing autism, cPTSD, OCD and similar; also resources about how OCD shows up differently with autism

soooo pleased my emotional support astronauts have sriracha and Nutella up there in heaven they deserve it
Equally infuriating bc of how preventable it was (except capitalism, etc etc etc)
Truly. V v v terrifying.
Shondaland has a slightly different interview (so excited)
youtu.be/fg4p0Xgf5gg?...
Netflix just posted a short interview with the S5 leads over at Tudum (sharing the link in case you haven't already seen it; I was very happy to)
www.netflix.com/tudum/videos...
I was rooting for Eloise and Cressida, especially after season 3 part 1. Alas!
Jess Brownell (the showrunner) has some recent interviews about why the S5 story + those 2 siblings are queer, and I thinnnnnnnk an older interview about why Eloise isn't (and I keep on wanting to call bullshit on it, esp bc of E's relationship with those 2 sibs in particular)
Right?! I kept watching the end of season 4 trying to piece together the showrunner's intentions and hints. I'm so glad the sapphic story is up next 🥹💖
I'm so excited to see what the show does for season 5
There are some truly gorgeous sapphic fics in the Bridgerverse up at ao3. Pink in the Night (Cressida/Eloise) basically lives rent free in my head
This doesn't feel surprising? Good work feels good; bad work feels painful, whatever the context. And scaffolding! I love it. I want more of it, always
Also, I love you approach to teaching these concepts. I wish I'd had more of that when I was in school
Yeah, even the intensity and extent of my synaesthesia varies with that kind of context -- always the same underlying sensory mapping, just +/- as with the rest
Even modality: I imagine vividly with audiobooks, especially if the narrator's voice is Very Nice, but basically nothing with text, even though text generally feels more familiar / like home. Fwiw I'm AuDHD with extensive synaesthesia 3
Also like, what kind of mode my own brain is in: deep monotropic tunneling vs ADHD chaos. Playful dreaming vs problem solving vs Just Getting Through The Day. Etc etc 2
Do you have any sense of how consistent this is across different contexts? I don't think I mean age -- I'm thinking more of the huge variability I experience depending on my body budget (sleep, hunger, etc), chronic vs acute pain levels, environmental loads (real world sensory processing demands) 1
Basically feminism for the past 250 years has been a struggle to establish that women are people endowed with certain inalienable rights, and among those rights are life, liberty, and bodily autonomy.
These are gorgeous

One cool thing about unequivocally hating AI is that you will be proven right over and over again every single day

I'm not trying to add snark. I keep hearing versions of this and think it's useful to consider.
Let's assume for the sake of argument that it is true that the lower courts are working. That forcing lawyers for immigrants to prove 4,400 times that the .gov breaking the law is the system working. +

Substack is in the news for platforming and profiting from Nazi newsletters again.
Would you consider moving your newsletter elsewhere? Rebecca Solnit hosts hers at ghost.io , eg.
