No place is immune to the impacts of a hotter planet. One example: People outside the usual suspects of Cali and Florida are suffering the most from soaring home-insurance premiums

Solar farms might double as water generators in arid landscapes Scientists say giant solar panels could trigger rainfall in deserts and even supply water for thousands of people

The next time somebody tries to tell you solar panels compete with farmland, you can say that not only do they coexist with farmland, they can sometimes *make their own rain*

How the hell has the stock market not learned that Trump just lies? Trump is wishing away the Iran War the way he did Covid. What happens when the market finally has to tell the truth?

Tesla Cybertruck Sales Were Inflated by a SpaceX Buying Spree Almost one in five pickups registered during the fourth quarter went to another company in the billionaire’s business empire.

You mock, but making your rocket company that's about to sell shares to the public eat 20% of the trash vehicles you designed after not sleeping for 96 hours is just totally normal businessing

Investors’ Ozempic Mania Could Be Bad for Our Health When did climate change stop being the most important issue of our time? According to a bunch of investors, quite recently.

Investors now say they care more about health than climate change. Which is pretty maddening, because there's not much more detrimental to human health than the climate going to hell, notes @lararhiannon.bsky.social

This must be an accident: Rooftop solar is straight up booming in Florida after a GOP bill removed hurdles to installations, per BNEF. The state's on track to install 700 mw of panels, about 2x last year.

Trump's self-made energy emergency means he'll be surrounded by solar panels
