2k away from finishing the revisions on my secret santa fic. I want to finish this within the next couple of days so bad.

It would be great to finish tonight but that's a bit lofty with the time I have available

Soon, I'll have to figure out what to title this fic...I have no idea still

Secret Santa fic progress- I'm on scene 5 of 6 for editing! Coming up on an important part I skipped over completely in the first draft. Looking forward to getting to it, the other parts I initally skipped weren't too hard to flesh out and I bet this one will be the same

I've been working on this every day since late November. A part of my brain told me I'd fail if I skipped a day of working on it and I've been on quite a great track of doing something with the fic every night.

I was initially thinking around 3-6k would be reasonable for a short story. But the dynamic requires certain emotional beats to hit for it to feel right and for me to feel good about it. Thus, adding several scenes for everything to work out.

Without giving anything away, my secret santa giftee's wishlist had some dynamics I don't typically write. I ended up going all out on creating up some fun concepts that they'll hopefully like.

The fic is sitting around 9-10k. I didn't mean to write so much 🤣

Disappeared here for a while but thinking of coming back to chatter into the void and share what I'm up to better.

This month I've been toiling over a secret santa writing exchange. My goal is to get it finished and posted before the end of the month and so far so good.

Which is a funny contrast for how dark the series is

My mental break from reality is obsessing over Fatal Frame. Finally going through Maiden of the Black Water and entranced with piecing together the full story. It's really nice to get back to this series and play through something new to me.

Found a kickstarter for a card game that's most certainly using AI and not disclosing it, reported and predictably Kickstarter has done nothing.

They're getting so much money to make this and it has no place next to all the beautiful games lovingly crafted by artists.
