We have created a little infographic showing 13 recommendations from our recent paper (doi.org/10.1136/bmjo...) about ways to improve the participant's experience when taking part in chronic pain research!

It is often not possible to include all recommendations, but several are easily implemented!

We looked at what happens in the brain when people with chronic hand-based pain experience resizing illusions.

No evidence of SSEP changes were found, but several participants experienced clinically meaningful (>30%) pain reductions!

Super happy to say that I passed my viva today!

Dr Donna Lloyd and Prof Rob Jenkins were amazing examiners who encouraged such a good discussion about the work in my thesis!

Feels strange but very exciting to say that I am now Dr Hansford!!
