Thank you for the offer. I may contact you at a later date, but I'm not looking to spend anymore money right now. I have like three artists that I've already commissioned for character art and background. Hope you understand.

I have artists on board and the animation part will have to wait as I'm quite tight on money right now. Thanks for your interest though.

Right now, I'm tight on money so the animation part will have to wait a while.

I'll do my best, but I don't have a lot of extra income at the moment.

Don't have an estimated budget, I just know it's just very small.

The art style is inspired by the LUNAR video games and for right now, I would want 30 second character introductions.

Right now, I don't think I can do more than $100. I understand if that's a no go for you.

Not sure right now.

Depends on the price. I just got through paying for my medical insurance and I have to wait for my next paycheck before I spend anything else on commissions. What would your price range be for concept art of a character?

I'm going to be honest. I probably won't be able to pay for long-term work as my goal is to try and get a team together to start making animated short content and I know that it's a long process. I can pay for one drawing, but what I'm looking for is different from that.

I like Kinzinger, but fuck this take. Dems can't do much of anything because the idiots of this country decided to give Trump and Republicans unchecked power. What does he expect Dems to do? What do all these people complaining about the current admins actions expect the party out of power to do?

It’s amazing to me that politicians don’t commit to post first on @bsky.app and to engage with constituents here

THIS is more powerful than CNN , MSNBC, The Post will ever be.

You can broadcast for 9 mins on a declining medium, or engage here and start a real discussion.

Which is more powerful?

Any space that is perceived to be “liberal” is derided as aloof, out of touch with “regular folks,” and “not the real world.”

Any space dominated by reactionary sentiment and rightwing aggression is revered as a manifestation of “real America” and a window into what “the people” really think.

This shouldn’t be, but in many red states, Black history is whitewashed or barely taught. Thanks @aaronparnas.bsky.social and AP for breaking this good news. We need this…

Florida students are giving up their Saturday mornings to learn African American history at community centers across the state.

We have a very deep bench of qualified and amazing Democrats that could seek higher office.

The key is, we need to be investing in liberal media to support these people and make sure we can spread their message!

Otherwise, it’ll be a repeat of 2024.

I disagree. MAGA did vote for this. Project 2025 is clear on what's it's agenda is and anyone who was paying attention knew that Trump would try to implement that agenda.

Trump voters may not have realized that's what they were for voting for, but the info was out there.

I firmly believe that Democratic politicians like AOC, Jasmine Crockett, Pete Buttigieg, and others who can communicate messaging while not sounding like politicians are the future of our party.

Democrats Need to Learn How to Take Credit and How to Blame Republicans do it with lies. So why can’t Democrats do it with the truth?

I write how Democrats need to take credit for their accomplishments loudly and blame MAGA for their failures loudly. Sure, self-promotion can feel gross sometimes. But, with lives on the line, politicians need to sell their policies and their brand.

Shouldn't Biden pardon everyone Trump has said he'll go after: Fauci, Cheney, Jack Smith, etc?

If you’re upset about President Biden pardoning his son Hunter, wait until I tell you about the time Trump pardoned his son in law’s hooker hiring daddy and made him ambassador to France.

It's up to Democratic officials whether they want to stop exclusively rewarding legacy media with their time and start validating the people who are actually advocating for their agenda. But until they make that decision, the asymmetry that cost Democrats this election will persist.

Choose democracy. Then defend it. Pretty simple.

As the world gets darker, we will survive by sharing the light and warmth of each other. We will fight on and we will find our way. Our lives are more than state power bearing down on us. So we will carry the fire until the day we all walk in the sun. Together.

1994: Mariah Carey releases a Christmas song

2024: Mariah Carey has become the Harbinger of Christmas. The Beast emerges every November to feast on the holiday energy of every unfortunate mortal who hears her siren song. Only after she's sated will she return to her icy prison.

Furthermore: it’s much harder to building thing than destroy them, harder to fix than to break them. But the pace of building and fixing in our current system is slow and unsatisfying and all the political upside is in finding a story about who to blame for ppl’s experience of alienation and despair

I get the pushback to Bluesky in that it further bifurcates our media ecosystem. But at this point, Twitter’s content moderation is so nonexistent and its verified users so extreme that the choice becomes either move away from Twitter or be subjected to straight up 4chan nazi bile on a daily basis.
